Guest Sub
Hey, Just wondering if someone can tell me if the rear shocks from a mk2 sedan are inter changable with the mk2 sport ???? Ive got some Gabrielle Gas Rider Shocks. Does anyone know if these are any good?

Guest Sub
the reason im doing it is that my esky has been lowered on blocks and it bottoms out with hardley any weight in it. Would an alternative be adding another leaf
CaMpylobacter
wont make a difference, unless your shocks have no damping abilities. lowering blocks are terrible. should ditch them and get leafs reset and another added. perfect etc
esky boi
Yea just get the leaves reset and another leaf added. Will cost about $200- $250 for a pair..
Guest Sub
Whats the advantage of this over blocks?
mk2_escort
wot u can do is (and wot i am doing), is get lowering blocks 2 drop the ride hight 2 your liking, and sorce sum leafs off a panalvan as they are more heavy duty 2 incoporate the extra loads intended. i had a look at a mk2 rally car and this is wot he has done. not sure is they r actualy from a panalvan but have an extra leaf in there and looks the same. you also have 2 do shocks aswel but that goes without saying. Hemi
i would have to think that resetting them and adding another leaf will be better less tramp etc stiffer so bottoms out less
peteretep
yeah i got mine reset, made 25% harder and added another for anti tramp and lowered 45mm
