  1. These meets are super great, definitely worth it especially for cruising afterwards
  2. Awesome van, is that a new tow ball? Looks real nice hahaha
  3. Looks great Laura and good stuff, you learn a lot working with family.
  4. Karl and I got home last weekend and that night Dad wanted me to go down to workshop to pick up some wiring diagrams with him but he mentioned that my car hadn't been touched since I last saw it. Usually I go and lift up the car cover anyway and as I did I was thinking the engine bay looked tidier but didn't want to offend him by asking so put the cover back on to which he came out of the engine room and laughed at me for not looking hard enough. With thanks to parents and their awesome friend as a huge surprise I now have windscreens, a tidy engine bay, dash and beginning of interior and we are starting to piece together all missing bits.
  5. Hey yes please they'd be really helpful - will arrange pickup when back in country if that's okay?
  6. I think it was one of those 'it has to be at swap meet you have no choice' promises
  7. Chur g Well, actually going overseas on Tuesday for a bit so will see what happens
  8. Haha, not too sure about that but will see how it progresses. When we had it done we were told its just standard 12a with bridgeporting, light flywheel, balanced rotating assembly and modded nikki 4 barrel carburetor. Pretty sure we replaced the carburetor though /tried 4 others.
  9. Nice, like the new layout Chris. Unfortunately shall not be in attendance of this meet and same goes for Karl
  10. Agree with cleaning jets, also check the floats and finally (just because this is from personal experience) make sure a nut/bolt/whatever hasn't just fallen off somewhere. Trust me, it can be something that simple that messes the whole system up.
  11. Haha yeah figured that out, still think it's more suited to a coupe
  12. Ahh tempting, I think its better suited to a coupe though
  13. Dad recently fixed the carburetor and it idles real nice now, sounds especially good when you put the phone in the exhaust and call people
  14. Was a good turn out from when I managed to get there. Cheers Tara for cleaning up after those who didn't. Karl and I will most likely see you all at the August burgerburritoes
  15. Was awesome cheers for letting us stay last minute too! So looking forward to the oldschool dog
  16. Actually what time does stuff start tomorrow? I probably just am lazy and didn't see but yeah
  17. Yeah feel like taking the Cortina for a spin. Mark/Yowzer: we'll probably leave here round 7.30 or something (don't actually know, Karl can text you)
  18. can offer a lift on the saturday morning, going back saturday night though
  19. Thanks heaps, I'm genuinely so happy with the progress today
  20. working, otherwise I'm sure it would've been there
  21. can't commit to anything at this stage, might want to keep your ban finger ready
  22. Hell yeah it runs!! Sorry for shit sound/not really sorry 'cause it just sounds that much better in real life. Need to check over some things, and need a gear lever before burnouts.
