Sweet weekend! I'm so glad that I have today off work for recovery. My camera decided to die on the way to Wagnats so unfortunately I only managed about 6 photos of the Napier convoy on the road.

So far plans for Napier convoy to leave at 11am have failed. Currently at the Shiteau awaiting a starter motor for the Coon. Good times...

I'm keen to head to this as I'll be up there for the Big Day Out, but the catch is that my cars will be in Wellington. Is there any kind person who may be passing through somewhere near where I'm staying (in Remuera) that morning that I can hitch a ride to the meet with?

Heh. This was me too on the same morning except it was more like three hours. There's nothing quite like regurgitating electric blue Powerade into the bushes in a picturesque setting. I'm a firm believer that Scrumpy is the cure for this ailment. It worked a charm last Wagnats.

Keen for this. But... One thing we'll have to watch out for though is getting locked out of the track. It's been about a year since I stayed the night at Manfeild but I'm pretty sure they lock all the gates just before dark, sometimes earlier.
