I've got a VW Passat wagon I'm looking at.
But I'm worried its quite rusty, and was wondering if anyone was able to have a poke around and let me know if its a wreck or alright.
Can shout some beer money if wanted
Anyone know a GC in gizzy that could do me a WOF today?
Shouldn't be much wrong, just don't wanna cannonball up to Auckland no wof/reg if I don't have to
Very nice man!
I don't even have a build thread for mine;
I know the person who has the other two of your wheels in 4x100 on a trailer also, it was in my garage last week haha.
Snapped up that NC50/Honda Express for the Sale section.
Got it running after work the next day.
Then the throttle jammed open somehow after I changed the mixture screws haha.
What's the procedure of setting up a kill switch seeing I have no ignition barrel?
Too damn scared to crank it over again as I had to jam a cloth in the air intake and my finger in the choke for literally a minute before it slowly wound down, even after kicking the plug lead off.
Who's the go to guy for this sorta stuff around here? I was gonna go see Murray at Webber Specs but I don't have the coin for that kind of super professional job yet.
It's all I've really got left stopping me driving my MK1.
Just needs a cable setup and bracket to run the twin dellortos.
It had one before but it was setup so badly.
Cheers
Oh sweet, thanks Cletus.
I can get the tires off no problems, and I've seen the welds they look mint.
So according to that my certifier should be okay with them if they are visually in good condition?
I've seen them so I know I won't be wasting my time taking them off.
Just wondering if anyone has any as mine have been widened professionally but I have zero paperwork and turns out I need it for a cert.
After either 15x8 or 15x7
Cheers
I'll be attending with the flat mates. (2x '63 beetles, a MK1 Cortina wagon, and a sedan, a Mitsi GTO and possibly a Datsun Cherry)
They are all well behaved GC's. But if parking is limited some can park elsewhere.
