  1. Does that count canopy's? If so I'm sorted! If not, no wagnats
  2. Could be keen. Am shifting house that weekend so may not work. But I'm showing signs of interest at this point
  3. Oh hi.. Sorry, my plans for Sunday have now been over ruled by family type stuff so this is going to be a no go for me. However being it was partly Grinters idea he may wish to take the lead? Maybe.. Yea, sorry guys. My day has just become to busy and the wag has no wof or reg so I'm out
  4. I'll always have a spear seat for the man who can down 2 doz!
  5. Hi all, So, had a few borts and baznazas with the Grinter tonight and decided it would be a flaming shame to not hold a fathers day cruise this year! I for one being a first time daddy this year and also the fact that fathers day happens to fall on my birthday seem to think this is a fuckn fantastic idea! Wether it be to have some time out from the wife and kids, or just a good reason to take the o/s whip out for its maiden voyage of the spring season. This is not strickley a fathers only type thing, everybody is welcome, wife, kids what have you. Just think of it as the first cruise of the to be summer with some cold doobros and a snarler sizzle! Ideas on where to go and what to do are more than welcome! However in saying that, the rough idea we came up with in our 42 second conversation was maybe a early arvo meet (as dads are guna want to go to yum cha for lunch) in the northern wellington region, paramata inlet area? Anyhow, post ideas below.... Chur!
  6. Bra on backwards Load in the wind pipe Found behind the dumpster Ahhh Mark Daish, you did well!
  7. Shit this thing rules my face hole! How would you feel about a set of these bad boys? Already wrapped in a set of mud/snows with a shit ton of treads left in them.. 13 x fuck knows (maybe 5?) tyres are 155/80's.. Was going to give a polish up and use as spears for the wag, but i'd say race car is a far better fitting home.. Let me know if your keen
  8. Oh awesome bro, will catch up to grab them this week some time.. Chur!
  9. Yo Kicker, could you keep an eye out for a ke20 corolla one for me please!
  10. What happened to this thing?? Was really enjoying the build thread last year
  11. Damn those came out good! Thanks heaps Jesse, was good to meet you and thanks for the sweet shots!
  12. Keen as and will be there.. Would also pick up Jess but I'll be in the northern hutt before this unfortunately.
  13. Unfortunately after another test drive around the block I made the unwise decision to raise it back up.. Cant say I'm to pleased about this but the 172km trip to wagnats would just be unbearable.. Have spent many a year rolling around in shit heaps with cuttys and what not and I'm sure as shit that I don't recall them ever being this bad! Was way to afraid to attempt hitting the open road limit, 50km was bad enough... So it looks like I won't be winning the 'how is that so slammed' award this year (dammit!) On a positive note I did learn that I have no interference issues at that height (other than front bump stops) so looks like I'll have to start saving to build some adjustables. Seems there is a few options out there, but most info I have found has be in regards to strut swaps, ae85/86 seems the best option but pretty rare these days so I'm more likely going to stick with ke20 sturts, with aw11 inserts. Also want to incorporate a better braking system while at it, have seen a little info to do with using a u13 bluebird front rotor and sw20 mr2 calipers, as far as I can tell other that a little machining of the hub, hubcentric rings and caliper brackets its not to much work.. However we will see... If anybody has any other ideas for a cheap(ish) coil-over and brake upgrade let me know, Its not something I intend of having sorted anytime soon but I do want to start collecting parts...
  14. I have a fairly high tolerance for cars that drive/ride shit but this really is over the top... We will see, but unfortunately I'm not liking my chances...
  15. Decided that since Wagnats is just around the corner it would be in my best interests to install some one off custom one way makita racing springs and lose a leaf out of the rear. I think the results will speak for themselves.. Rear is still a little high but with a zero dollar budget it came out ok.. Turns out its still a little to high as it only took around half a hour with some 4x2 and jacks to get it out of my garage! Now the only problem is that wagnats is some 150+ kms away and it drives like a utter bucket of shit (who ever would have guessed!?) Didnt leave a 50km area and even that was to fast for my liking... So all signs lead to it being back up at previous height by then... Such a shame as it looks so lush!
  16. Such a good thread! Have been a long time lover of the vtec, having owned a few d15b (poor mans vtec) civics as courier cars. Put a stupid amount of k's on them (around 500,000) and treat them like the dirty sluts they are, redline all day and just basically being a abusive cunt to them... I did manage to kill the pair but the well out lasted the ae92 fxgt i was running before hand which firmly proved to me that no matter how much I loved the 4age they just couldnt handle a 3rd of the abuse that I dish out to the hondas. Anyway, seems that all the research I'v done since reading this thread and getting all bared up for the dirty H is that the K is best when compared to the F20c. The thing that gets me is is it worth the fuck around to set up the K series to rwd when for what it seems is a less amount of money you can find a f20c with box, loom and other shit? Yes, k will yield better results in a n/a form, but really, is 200bhp in n/a not enough for a motor that will act like a stock motor and give you 400,000km plus in a early model light weigh o.s whip? Thats just my thoughts anyway... If i had a big cheque book I know what I'd do... Il just leave this here to tickle ya taste buds.. http://www.boostclassifieds.com.au/forums/index.php?showtopic=2160571
