  2. Adapt the levelers with a bolt on them so you can use a battery drill and a socket for speedy leveling
  3. Theres a guy I see commuting a burgman thing most mornings, hes always across the intersection when the lights go green before the cars have even moved
  4. Strip it down when you get it cause qc is average and so is sealing especially if using it in a marine environment plus they use sfa grease in the gearbox so pack it full of grease and goop it back up with silicone

  7. 100% make up a bash plate, even a thick alloy one that will grind itself away instead of the gearbox. Had similar clearance issues with my townace and it had a alloy bash plate that I has a cardboard template stashed away for. Was easy to whip up a new one from a sheet of scrap when it got a bit thin Also was the box from a floor shift morse cable linkage van? Id say you need to do some fettling to the adjusters to get the column linkages talking to the box properly or if the swap with the gearbox mount setup has dropped the box down a few mm that can be enough to throw everything out of whack as I found when my gearbox mount collapsed

  18. Radiator from a deez lite/townace would do the job. My 3SGE townace was running the factory 2C-T radiator and it worked perfect

  21. The tale of Jan the GC makes me happy, its good to know such genuine people still exist. Thanks to J5 for a sweet weekend of small bike ADV adventures and the loan of the ever reliable CT110 to hoon for the trip.
