  1. Got a few questions for the proper panel beaters out there: When you have patched a hole with new steel, do you etch primer the steel before you bog or is it better to bog straight onto the steel? What brand/type of bog is best for finishing? What tools are a must have to do a decent job of panel beating? Any hammers or dollies you can recommend? Cheers.
  2. Dude on TM replied, will do 2x 15x8 N9 offset for $652.50, or 2x 15x10 N26 offset for $697.50. Not toooo bad I guess for brand new 10 inch wide wheels? Have to see if I can fit 10's on the back without hacking up car. Truenotch, what wheel/tyre sizes do you run on your car? I noticed the N2 cars in japan run upto 245's on the back, seems mighty wide for a lil car?
  3. Just open laptop up till its flat, and duct tape it to the outside of the windscreen. Heads up as fuck.
  4. Im pricing up 2x 15x8 and 15x10 challengers through some guy on TM, i'll see what he comes up with. I would love to get my Rewinds widened, by an inch or so on the back, I will have to do some investigation. Other option for track is just get some 14 inch steelies done?
  5. My mate was talking about doing this, usein a lappy as a dedicated display, but then he got a car with a motec and a stack dash (old owner dude wanted stack dash back) so hes making his own rip off version of it, puhuhuhuhuhu. I blazed around with my full size lappy connected to the G3 for a while, seemed to be pretty accurate and fast?
  6. Ive got a dirty old set of performance challengers, they are fake 2 piece, 7 inch wide 15's with gay 26p offset, was hoping to make 1 pair wider for track days, as the 6 inch wide street fins I use are to skinny on the back. I guess the rim could be parted off the center and get new outter made, make it into real 2 piece? Prolly cheaper just to by 2 new wheels?
  7. Yeh, I was hoping someone could tell me what ones fit from other cars? I know nothing about MX**. They are for a mates car, went for cert and that was one of the things it failed on, cert dude already geezed at it, so sikaflex prolly out of the question Toyota ppl here cant even find car on system
  8. Anyone ever failed cert/WOF on top hat rubbers being cracked to shit? Anyone know of other top hats that will fit a MX40? or is there any where that will re rubber old hats? Cheers.
  9. Hello Jarred, thank you for your insightful question. This Limited Slip Differential is in fact a 1.5 way that will assist in the areas of acceleration while complementing this with an increase in braking assistance. I hope this answers your question sufficiently. Regards. Cant ya'll flick some shit, or adjust some cunt and its a 2 way? I know the AE86 TRD 1.5 way is made to become a 2 way, mind you, that would be odd in a FWD?
  10. I love how rover built these, and then blamed honda for them being so shit (honda helped in the development of them) I think they have civic dash and rear suspension, and the non turbo ones have civic motors also? Stick a rota in it
  11. I know 3 ppl that have had these, and they have all flown to bits for no good reason. These motors are on the edge of destruction std, so I would be very careful about getting more power out of it. Also, have a mate trying to sell one (with a rebuilt engine) any takers?
  12. Shit me, that looks well fast, what kinda hp's that suka laying down?
  13. Mean! Your one got leafs in the back? mines got coils? Im keen to see how it looks lowered, im gonna drop mine soon, just gotta get some smaller wheels, 205 15's are a bit big
  14. Racer X aint they called? I found some place that made rip offs of all the kool old jap wheels, and they were all 4x100, I was not happy. Cant remember the brand tho? some american company.
  15. Thats almost the price of my car!!! Fuck that lol, you sound like a knockoff wheels kind of guy http://www.axiswheels.com/wheels.php These are cheap quality 1 piece wheels (as far as I know). They are quite reasonable on price but at the end of the day, when it comes to new wheels you definitely get what you pay for. I looked at getting some of these wheels a few years back, but the dipshits only make them in 100 pcd's. wankers. Made for civics and shit.
  16. Is this how your's looked before they widened them? Thats what they would have to work with.
  17. Thanks heaps for that, looking at that pic, thats exactly how my ones will have to be done, cut rite next to the join of the center to rim, I have 3 diff sets here, and they would all have to be done like that, so good to know it can be done. Cheers.
  18. "Yea widen it at the smallest dia' of the rim. that way you wont run into problems like mikuni did with fitting tyres" = the problem I got, the smallest dia of the rim is behind the center, so they would end up wide, with no dish and that = gay as fuck. Guess I need to find some diff rims.
  19. I just brought a house, so sure as hell wont be paying anyone to do it, aint got no money I will get them parted and welded by someone who knows what they are doing, but im not sure the wheels I have here have enough lip on them to start with, as the bead is rite on the center pretty much, if ya know what I mean?
  20. I know this has prolly been asked millions of times before on this site, but I need all the info I can get on making steelies wider. I know basicly how to do it, but just want to see how it can be done/best way to do it/any pics of it being done.
  21. Ive never heard of a 4AGE dizzy shitting itself before, so like you say, you prolly want to find out what caused it before you plug in another one. Have no idea what would have caused it tho sorry.
  22. Oi, dud's, theres a place in Rot's that makes custom coils I think? Archers Auto Springs 35 Sunset Road Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty 3015 (07) 348 0169‎ They should be able to help ya out. Stop that cunt ridin dirty on yo bump stops. Fool.
