  1. Actually no flag that, mine is stuck in my garage (wagon is non operational and the BBQ is in front of it). @Mourning Cupcake any chance yours could be used? I'm happy to transport it.
  2. Will see if I can fit mine in (I took it last time but have made additions to the van interior since then, so might not fit). Will report back tonight.
  3. just don’t push the shock in too far? I’ve had shocks (mk2 Cortina as well) shortened enough so that this was a risk as well but once it’s all Together I’m pretty sure it’s physiaclly impossible for it to compress to much (I.e the spring will bind first)
  4. Mean. Is anyone making the midday convoy haha? I know Al ( and I assume Niki), joe, terry, hay hole are all finding their own way there.
  5. I assume all the usuals have seen this (in addition to those I know are coming) @KKtrips @Shaz @Big Value Buddy @kicker @bmxnz11 @Moffmo
  6. We were thinking of ditching this months one (come camping you dicks), but if there are people keen then I don't see a reason not to have one. I personally wont be able to make it. Ill let the boss decide @Mourning Cupcake
  7. There is a swimable area like 100m down the river from where we normally camp (follow the track to the river spec), and then a better one (more pool like) a short distance back up the road
  8. Polishing those will be a bitch no? Machine marks etc will take aaaages I would have thought to get out. Keep them haggard
  9. What, you ask? A bunch of dudes, interspersed with those of the fairer sex, chilling out, spinning yarns, sipping on refreshing beverages, with some questionable music in the background. Will also be throwing of rocks into the river until we get sore arms, some dam building, Frisbee etc. Where? Otaki Forks DOC campground http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/places-to-go/wellington-kapiti/places/tararua-forest-park/things-to-do/campsites/otaki-forks-campsite/ When? December 16, meet at the Plimmerton weigh station (map below) at midday, and we will head off in convey from there. For those that cant make that time, no dramas, see you at camp! https://www.google.co.nz/maps/place/Plimmerton+Weigh+Station/@-41.0771871,174.8736812,327m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x6d3f56a34ebebe7d:0x16191115f11b57eb!8m2!3d-41.0770214!4d174.8733397 So clean our your chilly bins, chuck bread tags on your jandels so you don't have any blowouts, and come work on your tshirt tans. Tents, vans, wagons, sedans, and even coupes are welcome. A few of us will have same gayzeboes so don't worry about a little moisture. Bring cash for camp fees (although says eftpos is available...) $8 per adult, $4 per kid (up to 17 yrs). Beaver, out.
  10. Yeh amping foh shizzle. Happy to take centre stage al, although nothing really needs to be done to be honest....set a time and those that turn up will turn up. If it’s a pearler day could be tempted to head out a bit earlier but yeh, that doesn’t mean the masses have to.
  11. Wof before rego (cant get rego without wof) And yes, you just go buy rego like normal when you want to bring it off hold.
  12. Made this for mi'lady. its pretty big (1200x500) so quite heavy. Hope it doesn't rip the wall down haha (P.S. Its Mt Ruapehu)
  13. So I got the engine mount brackets reMANUfactored @Steelies and got around to bolting them up, engine is now in place and the bolts go in the right holes. Next is to put everything else back together and give it a crack at starting etc. schedule before Xmas is hectic so might be a while/I’m a useless cunt
  14. We are doing a few days getting down the West Coast just winging it after Christmas so will pass on anything worthwhile we come across. I’ve heard the campground up at Karamea is choice (north from Westport so a back track of sorts)
  15. Motors are for pussies. I use my legs (mountain bike)
  16. Thought we were mates Trev. I might be a bit late/closer to 7. Going for a ride up mt vic after work (radical dude) then will head over.
  17. There were about 6 token union plebs doing a protest on Thorndon Quay this morning (as I was riding my bike as the trains weren't running). I think they were complaining to the wrong people. Trying to get sympathy from the 30,000 people whose days you've just fucked up probably inst the best bet. Out of interest, when unions strike, do they simply get the day off, or do they have to actually do something/protest/attend a meeting etc?
  18. Yeh I’ll be there, was planning on driving to work anyway so will just go on a bit /a lot earlier in the morning to avoid the carnage
