  1. I run 15x7" +35 on my shuttle. The rear has 7mm spacer and they are still not flush with the guards (due to camber) the front sit just inside the guards
  2. It is always good to have the amp with more power than the speakers rating. Its called headroom. So long as you dont clip the speakers they will be perfectly fine and probably sound better with the extra power (cleaner sound etc) I have 40wrms speakers and have been giving them 104wrms daily for the past 2.5years and they are still as good as the day I got them
  3. Haha cheers, must have been on my home form work. Where was the discussion about what was and what wasnt oldschool? I cant seem to find anything recent?
  4. Seems my little shuttle has kicked the Bee's Nest I personally dont mind that it has been locked/moved etc I posted it here has I have tried to modify it in a "oldschool" type of way, nothing off the shelf, everything modified to fit, no massive chrome gay wheels etc etc. The way I see it, it is more oldschool than a KE70 (which was still considered oldschool 4 years ago when it is the same age the shuttle is now) that has 17" chromies, "superlow" kings au! and all that nonsense you see around the street
  5. Ok thanks for the clarification. I just put it up here for a laugh and I know a few people on this board from round here and they were interested in it. To me it is somewhat oldschool, they were made in the 80's, some models were carb'd, no electrics etc. But others seem to think it isnt anything close. Thats fine its a forum, its where opinions come out. I will just chuck a pic up in the random pic thread from time to time. Cheers guys, this can be locked/deleted/whatever now
  6. Oh nah I didnt take it badly, I was fine when it got moved, but then when it got locked I was a bit confused. I can see where you are coming from, it isnt "oldschool" but then to me its not different than a AW11 or or something like that, as has all the same features. I love reading the project section here, gives me ideas for when I have a shed to store some projects in, and also the diversity here is so good. This was just a "project" for a bit of a laugh, and for the most part it has received a decent reaction
  7. Hmm apparently this suddenly became unfit for this site? Yet a 88 Alfa, 87 Skyline, 01 Lotus etc etc are all fine. Maybe I need rwd/carbs/not a honda to be cool? Only put up pics by request of another member, all good though.
  8. Na a B16a needs a B series gearbox, but you can find a non LSD one of them cheap, so long as you get a OBD1 B16a (or any B16 and put OBD1 dizzy etc on) then you can use the wireing loom and everything from the Domani. So basically you use everything from the domani but with B16a engine and Gearbox and a B16 ECU which will plug into a OBD1 loom anyway
  9. No they are quite different, most D series are the same, but B series are different
  10. Any reason you arnt going with a B16a? They are only slightly bigger, can get them for easily $250 and heaps more parts available, not uncommon to see a Turbo one with over 200kw. Dseries can go well but arnt as efficient and can cost more to modify to a similar level
  11. Well the shuttle is oldish to me, I thought it might be appreciated for its uglyness? Hey its something different, not like its on chromes with clear tail lights and a stupidly loud terrible sounding exhaust (yes even Honda owners hate those Hondas) Fortunately I have no children and I dont even like indian food
  12. Yea trying to keep it as cheap as possible, everything is second hand or got at a discount. I will try dig up a pic, dont know if you know him but its Wongs, used to have the Civic "AZSILK" a few years ago Edit This is the only pic I can find Has been painted since
  13. Not at all, those engines can make 800hp with a big enough turbo And many of the higher power'd ones have a Bseries engine which with a simple forged build and a GT3040 can make a reliable 350kw at 18psi Not getting adjustable's just yet, I dont even get minimum wage (apprentice) and I refuse to go into debt for a car, also saving for a house deposit. All quality parts are going towards the Integra to get it ready for the track again
  14. I was thinking of gold actually. Need to keep the lights, headlights are crap and I do a fair bit of driving at night. Old tyres are just normal 14" tyres EF's are hard to slam legally, as they have big guards, can be 100mm from the ground and not be tucking. In saying that its been done, in fact theres one in Hamilton that runs 15x8" +25 Work Equips thats slammed Over in the states Shuttles are done quite a bit, not uncommon to see them with 400hp low boost set ups (<10psi)
  15. Hmm not a fan of green I must say, I got this so that it doesnt stick out or attract attention.
  16. 4 Door Type R, lots of 96spec ones around, but this is 98spec. I tried for dish, but either cost to much or was wrong stud pattern The 4wd are actually 2wd most of the time, rear wheels kick in when front slip, my one has the same chassis/rear trailing arms but is just missing the Diff and all that. I was thinking of painting the centers the same blue as the car, but black is eaiser. I will do one and see how I like it before I make up my mind
  17. Haha cant be any worse than driving it around, I get abuse yelled at me at least once a week Yea it doesnt look low, but the mudflaps scrape and all that (well used to till they wore down) This is my daily, my other project will not be welcome here, im just doing it up on the cheap, most of my money goes to my Type R. Mostly just got this as there is only 1600 98spec 4door Type Rs built and only 20 or so in NZ so wanted something that I dont really have to care about
  18. Hell I may even show up Hopefully will have a space shuttle of doom by then
  19. Dont worry those rims are just on there until the new ones show up end of the month, looks better in person though
  20. They arnt too bad, camera doesnt like the semi-darkness so they needed to be touched up in photoshop
  21. Logan just popped round so I took some daylight pics Looks sooooo much cooler in person Ignore the Honda if you want I just like the pic
  22. Looks so much better, those rims just need to be slightly bigger/wider and needs to be slightly lower. Just gotta wait for the cert aye
  23. B18c is only 10mm taller than a B16a, they fit civics no probs, its the H22a's that are tight
  24. Should fully B16a this! The engines will last forever (300,000+ks easy when treated right) B16A longblock=$300 Civic TypeR Pistons Integra Type R Cams Integra Type R Double Valve Springs Intake, Headers, Exhaust Tune Easy 125kw atw all day everyday at 8500rpm all for about $1200 if you know the right people, then you just need gearbox and your away laughing Or just chuck in a B18c-R with intake headers and exhaust with a Hondata ECU and make 150kw atw
  25. Looks good callum, if its going to be as tidy as K3RMIT then it will be mint (i know your brothers, so im not a stalker lol)
