I was under the impression you couldnt use 2k paint/primer on top of any amounts of Enamel paint? Doesnt it react and fuck up?

Got me a sweet grill from Rotorua swap meet and some sweet 15x8 rims for the back (these are chrome but going to paint centres I think) Its a 35 chevy grill, looks like this but without the insert and a little more rust.

Started working on the exhausts last night, have changed my mind yet again Made the plates and prettied them up. Will be painting the exhaust system a stick out like dog balls colour once I decide on the colour of the car. This is the style we are now going with.

Dont know about the intercooler question, but I have seen plenty of engines get totally painted (inlet manifold and all) and cant say I have ever heard of any problems because of it. Part from the odd person not using heat proof paint where they should have and it burnt off. I cant see anything wrong with painting it all black.

Ok have the engine mounts all sorted, next step is to make the transmission mounts. And then after that we can then start mocking up the exhausts.
