  1. You could also look at the throttle body butterfly stopper. that could of been tweaked a little and to much air is getting past at idle
  2. Question; Your not running a oil feed restricter to the he351?? From what i understood Holsets needed one.
  3. *brake reaction bar bushes* *caster rod bush*
  4. we dont, but you can use hammerite.
  5. Go with the classic Dr30/Hr30 red over black.. Looks old school and menacing. Correct, the best way for suspension upgrades is to get some white line sway bars, front and rear, Fit s13 lower hubs on the front and s13/14 height adjustable coil overs. Don't go stupid with the spring rates, keep them around 4k. The chassis of the r30 is quite flexible. Try and keep the front controll arms level when on the brakes. You will find it will also turn better if the chassie rails are level. Don't go and try for the visual look for dumped to the floor, This will upset the whole chassis under brakes and upset her a lot. Keeping the chassie rails level will be your best improvement This means a lot of height adjustments, Any lower and you will get excessive bump steer, (caused when the steering rack is at the wrong angles) Rears are simple. You can use the normal height adjustable rears you get out of s13's or s14's,r32s ect. keep with those series and the heights are different with later model skylines. When it comes to the top hats. You can use the normal tops off the adjustable's, You will need to drill one hole to suit the two bolt pattern. After doing that, You will need to upgrade your brakes, Since i presume your going with the s13 fronts, then you can put some r32/r33/r34 front calipers and rotors to suit. (easy as) Then its a matter of tunning, + its best to find some strut bars front/rear and a floor and roof brace, After that you will find she will turn fantastic!.
  6. from what i understand not the best way to have the feed back to the tank. This is how im having mine run The surge tank needs to have around 2psi of pressure in it. Fuel rail return needs to have minimal restriction. Note my pic
  7. Hx40w, 60mm inducer, 83mm exducer.
  8. Hell i rememeber that r30 years ago. From palmy i think ?
  9. Id love to.. but....... god mine is depressing right now!
  10. Most places with wheel alignments will have one set forward of the other. Its something about how the car tracks on the road or something. Best to talk to your good wheel aligner
  11. yaaaaaaaay Springs, Now more "low" cobras. As Edd can agree. Arnt to great
  12. to be honnest. Posting on every forum around is a pain!
  13. By the way your going you'll beat me to the show's... God my build up is going slow. Still waiting on my own shipping!.. And well at least the l28et is all rebuilt
  14. Oil lines bolt right on, the oil return needs to be re-bent to change the angle. You dont need to run a water feed. Just let her cool down longer after a thrash
  15. Nothing wrong with l28's, God i had the rb bandwagon is getting old! Ive just got my l28 rebuilt. To fit these into hr30's and larual's you need to do extensive bottom end mods with the oil pickup and dip stick to use the front bowl sump on the l28. (since the l28 uses a rear bowl) If you want some good L Serries reading/mods. http://www.hybridz.org will give you everything you need, A lot of guys are happily driving 550rwhp daily driver l28et's (standard internals) Mine is currently going to be running a LEM v4, gtr 444cc injectors. Holset hx30w turbo (480hp) RIPS intake manifold. 280z drive line 028, if you want a good turbo, a rb20det one is a good match, spools a lot quicker and is hell as smooth, Fitting is bolt on, you need the rb dump pipe. And a custom outlet to clear the intake manifold. You could run a vg30et one, which would produce more power. I was running a rb20et one for 2 years, made around 140+rwkw on 16psi, Was alot of fun in a 1100kg r30
  16. if you need any help with l20et mods, just give a pm, i had my l20et doing around 135rwkw on 14psi. Indefinitely get a front mount, you wont regret it, Find some vg30et injectors, tuning 22deg timing, and 16psi, should be good
  17. Switched sides!!! LOL... still the same company fella apart from diffrent logo . I wont raise my hand, I found the bright light.
