not often you can scrounge LADA parts off someone just round the corner. Ladas certainly do get the looks, you others out there really should try it ... if you can handle it looking good. cant wait fo ra ride with fiat power.

FORK!! Other lada altenator was different (older model) and the one i got off earthwurmjurm still pumps out 15v. What is the voltage reg? theres this block (plastic/metal) thing on the back which was wired into the car so i couldnt use the one off new altenator so used the orignal lada one could that be it?

This is from a few weeks ago. we need to pull the steering box out to fit engine and work in a steering rack somehow More work to come... Pretty impressive huh huh huh

well as im sure youve read im havin battery troubles. So any ways electrics like this are beyond me so i thought id asked you O/S fullas.. I just chucked on an old battery i had lying around and started the lada. chcuked a voltmeter on and ... At idle - reads 11.6V Bring revs up - reads 16V Now does that mean the alternator is pumping 16V into the little 12V car battery? Is this normal or not? Oh and what product can i use to neturlise the battery acid that spilt? can i buy this at my local auto retailer liek ripco or super shit auto? Please help as i need to drive to ha,ilton next friday Cheers

factory 13b turbo at this stage 808 is at panel/paint shop. gettin done on weekends for about 60% cheaper so it taking awhile. nearly done says rot808, just a few more rust repairs then shes off to paint
