Put all new bushes in the rear. Trailing arms, panhard and swaybar. I think it's already been done once before, the rubber bushes came out fairly easily and they had no outer steel sleeve I had to fight with so I'm assuming not factory. Anywho they were a bit fucked and I changed them. Does feel better in the bum now.

hey, also it should be made very clear that i have no idea what I'm doing. I'm literally just doing whatever looks good, there is no science in anything here, diameter of the throttle? - fuck knows, whatever will kind of match up with the head and still be big so it looks cool. length of the runner? - 80ish mm because that the number that i pulled out of my arse. angle of the throttles in relation to the motor? - 15 degrees because i have no idea why. if there's something that seems fucky please speak up, like i say these is no science in this at all it should also be noted that this engine isn't really destined for great horsepowers, its a fucking 5m, if i wanted max powerz i wouldn't have started out with such a turd. any input would be appreciated, unless your a shitposting dickhead, then its not.

Printed some throttles to get a better idea. It's pretty good, I'll guesstimate how it might work in the engine bay and take it from there.

yes. its not very scientific, its either on or off and it runs off a battery charge circuit from a campervan. because the car has some heavy current loads (compressor etc) i wanted to have it switch off if there wasn't enough current to go around. thats it, nothing fancy at all.

Printed this at work. It fits pretty well considering the sizing was a complete guess. I might angle the throttles up higher a bit? I need to guess what some of the clearances might be

hey @cletus is a water meth tank considered a fuel tank? like what the rules with locating a tank? can it go in the engine bay?

good afternoon, i have decided my life is to pedestrian and i need to spend more time in jail. and as such i have decided id like to start taking meth. mixed with water. and injected into the back of the supercharger. questions, there is a hole in the back of the supercharger that is at a 45 degree angle to the inlet pipe and the back of the rotor inlets. is this a good place to shoot the watermeth into? what do i use for an injector? i assume i can control it with the Link. ill make a tank that will probably have a pump in it. how do you control pressure to the injector? do you need to becasue it would be the same pressure no mater what's happening (i think? i dunno) in the engine. what else do i need to know? why can you grow tons and tons of potatoes in a field for years and years without the level of the field dropping as you take things away from it? tell me now.

i have been fucking around with a manifold design. i have been looking at the EFI hardware stuff, mainly becasue it looks like it might work. be keen to hear what your thoughts are on the different options for generic throttles. the EFI hardware stuff can give me a throat spacing of 90mm which i think i can get to fit. we have a rapid prototype machine at work now so i can probably print myself a test manny to see how things might workout. anywho, here's wonderwall.

yea so HKS made an engine, or maybe dress up parts for an engine and they called it the 5M-GX. they were doing similar parts for the 4age (which was called a 5A-GX) at the time and the 4age stuff was fairly popular. the 5m stuff, not so much. they made a turbo kit for a 5M which there is a tiny bit more info about, but there is nothing i could find on the interwebs about the 5M-GX except a couple of photos. i have no idea what they did as far as engine improvements or anything, i just found a picture on the internet and decided to copy it. cool story bro. what's left is make some sort of ITB setup for this thing and a set of extractors. the extractors will be fairly easy but the ITBs could turn in to a bit of a nightmare. there is very little room around number 6 and the firewall has a hump in it that means i cant come out of number 6 in a straight line. time will tell.

after fuck knows how many years of spraying things with a 60$ wellmade spray gun i finally took @Spencers advice and bought a semi decent gun from Ali. this one to be precise, https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006123473943.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.12.74df1802lK0JrN im not a spray painters arsehole but im pretty keen to use a better gun and maybe try and get better at painting things.

Cheers for the heads up. I have actually made the covers so they accept the factory baffle inside them so it will be exactly as it was from factory.

The pump is already shinmed as per the deemed 7M oil pump modifications

it could be the bypass valve in the filter (Z9) opening becasue with the motor stopped there's not nearly as much flow? what do you think??

I made a tool to to spin the oil pump shaft with the drill and got some oil pressure into the thing. Obviously the motor wasn't turning, just the oil pump. It got pressure up and went up to 60psi on the drill. Then it was like a relief valve opened and it dropped to 30psi after about 5 seconds. I turned the motor 180 degrees and tried it again and it did the same thing. No idea why it did that tbh but I'm going to get the whole motor spinning on the starter and see if it still does it. Then I guess I'll have to figure out why if it's still doing it with the whole thing turning.
