  1. Get a uprated pressure plate, that ought to do it
  2. Ahh, you did pass eh. WOF inspector looked confused as fuck when he went out to it. Do they run premix or do they have an oil tank? You had the mad smoke screen when you left!.
  3. A. Will save you some $$$ to spend in other places. B. You'll gain more low end/mid range torque through better intake velocity. C. If you're only gonna use the twin Aisan's as per 3K-B, you most definately dont ned to port them. As I said, cleaning up the ports will give you the biggest gains for the money spent. Just trying to help ya out
  4. It doesnt, trust me. Theres heaps of info out there to back it up. It might give you a higher peak power figure, which is cool if you're into dyno numbers, but you dont get as much low end/midrange torque which is what makes the car nice to drive.
  5. Too big, stock port sizes are sweet for stock valves. Just clean up casting marks and round the valve stem and the bowl. Head work gets expensive real quick, obviously they charge by the hour and wellknown outfits like The Head Shop up here have a pretty decent charge out rate
  6. Only a little bit, and its mostly a port velocity thing. No point having massive ports if you can't fill them efficiently, and even if you could, cant squeeze the charge through the inlets. I'd only go for bigger valves if you're go all out.
  7. Not much point in porting the head if you've got stock valves, just clean up around the valves and she'll be right
  8. Its at the race course on Saturday. Not Manfeild, the horse one. Dunno if theres any good stuff, its a hot rod type thing. Will be some cool cars I'd imagine though.
  9. That looked reasonably tidy before stripping it Did you just get Automotive Blasting to strip it and prime it, or did they do panel work too?
  10. Did you get the optional upper hat system? That looks like it should work as it is, but I guess I'll find out soon. Ordering shocks next week FTW!
  11. Do your camber plates have a bit on the edge where it looks like they've been chopped off a mould with a big pair of bolt cutters?
  12. K33n. Free swapmeat ticket = more $$ for beer.
  13. You find the autogage (which is autometer) to be inacurate? My mates one was bang on. Autogauge on the other hand is usually inacurate. I run an autogage one but have never checked my particular one to see if it is accurate. HKS, Greddy etc should be closer to correct as they are a bit more pricey. Sorry no, I meant Auto gauge (realised that when I was in Pioneer this afternoon ) When I sold my old MR2, I swapped my Auto Meter gauge for a Auto Gauge one, and mysteriously gained 2psi. Also had a Blitz Dual SBC in the car which read boost pressure as well for a reference.
  14. They can be calibrated, but it depends on what brand it is if its worth it or not. I've found that often Autogage ones are inaccurate, often 2psi or more out.
  15. Yeah I got one here you could use
  16. Yuh, but technically we compete. Tis gay etc. But Appco rocks so much harder.
  17. Not I, switched sides and went to Appco :D
  18. Just need to get hold of the right cunt at Stocks...their rep Clint in Wellys is a good bastard, he'll actually take the time to hunt through sizes to find something you need. They wont give out catalogues that list dimensions so that people can't go through and order something, then complain it doesnt work/fucks something up.
  19. Fuck yes!! We have sold one bottle in the past year. its that awesome pwnt, Appco doesnt stock that shit But yeah, I think we only sold maybe half a dozen bottles, and only once it went on clearance.
  20. Yeah wharfies are scummy bastards, one problem being is they turn over staff at a pretty high rate so you often have very little to go back to. Loving the iron mask, mean old things. If you mate does end up shipping stuff, I'm k33n to get a TRD LSD for my car
  21. That is pretty damn cool...bet it has the saggiest/plush suspension ever
  22. Build - //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/21111-ke30-deluxe-requiemk626/ Have you lifted the vinyl roof back yet? Would be kinda cool to keep it original, though no doubt there'll be rust aplenty under there Pretty cool its been in the family its entire life too. If you don't like the rims that are on there, I'll take em off your hands.
