Dashboard Restorations are the only place in NZ that will re cover a dash properly to OEM quality. Places like fibrenew can fix small holes and small cracks, but if the vinyl split bad or is dry and cracks when you press it, then Dashboard Restorations are your only option in NZ.

Yeah I think L31 is the go, especially since I have the LD28 crank, L24 9mm rods and brand new OEM KA24E pistons. Just gotta find some of those carb thingees.

Prob going white. Factory colour is not the blue the the metallic purple you see in door jambs/engine bay. The factory colour is called (I shit you not) #169M Metallic Ravender HA HA HA The old owner reprayed it with a Ford blue can. It would look shit metallic purple. Nah, was seriously considering the 710 but its gone already. A meet up would be PHAT and look awesome all cruising together. Most people not in the JDM know have no fuckin idea what these cars are anyway. Unless they see the tail lights.

Big ups to Truenotch hookin me up on this one. Saw him advertise here on behalf and I snapped it up as quick as possible. Always wanted one of these 10 years ago before I knew anything about them. Just loved the tail lights and had no idea they were actually a Nissan Skyline rebadged in NZ a 240K. Here the whale pics when I bought it; I am 3rd private owner, from kms I have worked out only done about 90,000km. It is rusty in doors and parts of guards like all 240s (well make that all Datsuns!) but the chassis and underneath are mint. Matching L24. Then I found some Mark IIs!! 15x7 and 15x7.5 SSR MKIIs , fit snug as a bug in a rug, need smaller tyres on rear stretch fit so they are the same as the front, 195/50/15s. Need to lower the front a wee bit more too.

I am reliable. The sedan was tight but this coupe gonna be tighter!

Had you of posted this a few weeks ago you could have had some panels the same colour for free, bonnet / rear hatch etc. I have a front windscreen you can have for free if you want it? I also have a centre console if yours is missing one? Bits in Wellington

When you are charged with Careless driving you don't get a ticket, you go to Court! I would call the officer and pester him. If he won't take action ask to speak to his supervisor and go up the chain until its done.

Ohh man, that sux , real real bad.... Push the cop for a careless driving charge against that lady. If he knows his job properly there is no other way to solve it (ie there is no infringement notice for hitting a parked car.) And besides she has already admitted she was 'careless' by saying she was driving AND tending to her kids If insurance is not going to pay, you can seek reparation through the court as part of the careless driving charge (get a couple of quotes for repair and give copies to the coppa.)
