  1. I could fly @cletus down, he can (hopefully) cert my imp and then borrow a suitably shit car from @Slacker_Sam. for a road trip south, then fly out of chch... Or something like that. I'm just thinking out loud. Imp isn't even near finished yet but good to have a goal to aim for.
  2. @Willdat? You can come down with your bro and @scooters?
  3. Fixed. I'm sore there's more. I know there's more in tasman area lurking.
  4. Yep count me and hannah in. I'm sure we can coax @Willdat? @ThePog @ynot @Out of time 88 @Sanfiddy @yetchh @moparmuppet @maxted @Slacker_Sam. From tasman to make a convoy down
  5. The ones at hari hari are neat but insane levels of Sandflies both times I've been to them and I don't think we'd squeeze all of us into them... https://nzfrenzysouth.wordpress.com/d4/
  6. Also the coldest part of the year so great for max enjoyment of hotpools!
  7. It's going to have to happen. I'll be needing some nice Hanmer cycling, bbqs and hotpool to look forward to later this year.
  8. You did well @Kiwibirdman. You answered all 18 questions!
  9. I've never had a holden but always liked these. But my brother had a cool landie with a 202, which I drove from chch to blenheim. Will never repeat. 202 sounded nice though and went hard fwiw. Until one of the pistons fell in half.
  10. Twin SUs thank you please. The ones off a rover V8 will be spot on.
  11. 'A' is just the distance between centreline of shaft and the centreline of the socket. You'll need to raise the gearstick fulcrum twice that distance once you have turned the shaft around.
  12. 2200rpm at 'an indicated' 60mph. My speedo reads way out! But even if yours is out a bit it's still a huge improvement from 4000! Dreamy
  13. @dmulally like I said this morning on the reverse gearstick anonymous phone call, you don't have to make it as poncy as mine. Just rotate your under tunnel shaft 180 degrees so flipping the forged socket to the top and raise the gear stick fulcrum the required amount (30mm iirc), so reversing your across gate movement....
  14. I can do that. Message the dimensions.
  15. Sweeeeeeeeet! Congrats. Looking forward to the next driving day with REACT* on some twisty roads. *Rear engined agile cars of Tasman
  16. Mr exhaust has quite a collection of "projects he's going to do one day"...
  17. @nzstato Naseby is great. I've stayed there a fair few times for mtb racing back in the days. Cool trail network. But no *hotpools for winter warmth *exorbitantly priced
