  1. Silly question, but have you changed the bulbs? Nice car BTW!!
  2. Mean mate, visors are allways FTW. Same goes for racks. Espec O/S ones. Should tie travel gear / dining table to it for ROFLS at track day!! I reackon that's the coolest standard No. Plate too. You should call it "Fonzaralli" or just "Fonzie" Ayyeeee!!!!
  3. Clockwise rotation of the engine batman!! 4g92's FTW!! Best EX I've seen in a while. Awesome in it's origanallity too. Me old Mirage had the Mivec goodness and went really well. I could only imagine what RWD would be like. Rev to 9 (on the tacho anyway) all day long, just watch the oil pressure or the Mivec change over goes all funny and the engine doesn't like it.
  4. Agree with one aforementioned Kyteler. Heck when can you not?
  5. Wondered where that had got to!! Long time no see!! Yeah, that was it, L26 engine with 280z running gear, thus the confusion. It's all coming back. Dam I loved that car when it wasn't breaking down!! Sorry for going totally OT dude. Getting back to it - definatly change the wheels!! It's worth the hassle of searching!! Zeebs = case and point.
  6. I know! I was meaning solidstripe's old 240K (not ky's). I thought it had an L26 much like mine, rather than L28 as he states above. Twas a while ago and my memory = seriously bad at the best of times due to to many knocks to the head, but am pretty sure it was the engine/running gear out of a 280z. And 240k's are Australian, my C111 was a bonafide skyline straight from godzillatown. Sorry for going off topic btw!
  7. That is slow bro!! My RVR could do 0-100 it in half the time, no lies!! Auto must be slower again. And when it's cold you have to think twice when wanting to cross intersections/go down short onramps etc. Single carbd L28 FTW!!! This one (in my old C111 Skyline) was actually pretty good for a oldy.
  8. fully boes, im likin that ride height, looks mean. x2
  9. Yeah mate, L20e big time - and l20e's having more power than what, a slot car?! They are seriously slow bro, like seriously... Grandma's in soch honda's and 4wd diesel work vans burn me off at the lights (no exageration!). Heck, push bikes probebly go faster, without wheels!! Allways good for a laugh/hope you actually pass cars and can make it up hills. 140hp of brutal force btw bo
  10. Can't find the ute discusion thread so just going to lay it out here. The creamy brumbie needs the tray painted and a nice old stainless roll bar in it F > T > W!!
  11. My donk is bigger than yours! My donk needs a service and a clean, since we're all compairing. Glad to be of help, allways glad to hook up strangers with strangers!! Haha, welcome to the cedric club!! Glad someone who'll appreciate it got it!! [/img]
  12. Yeah I know but money/power wise surely it'd be better to build/buy a RB30. I'm not say l28's are a bad engine, it's just that if I was after cheap power a RB would be the go, rather than having to upgrade everything on an L to bring it up to the stock power (or low tune) of a RB. Thought it be at more than that for sure. Or is that a ATW quote (180hp) rather than a fly? And cruising? Who knows, I might just tub the back and chuck some eagers on it just to spite ya!!
  13. Cheers, but got my rims. Staying with them. Dangit, I will make them fit!! Also, in other news, realised the L28et isn't that powerful, so prob go RB in the long haul.
  14. 15x10's on the front?! Mate!! Cheers for the pic, allways good to get a idea. Twas talking to a mate the other day who suggested a skiny tyre (215ish) with a bigger profile so the the side wall stretchs in a bit as this could help a bit. Sounds good in theroy, what do you guys in the know think?
  15. Nothing new, but interesting. Some thermal images I took with our new toy for work, a Flir BCam SD (I could of brought three cedrics for the price of this imager!!!). These were taken basicly point and shoot styles, and show the thermal patterns over the bonnet and wheels, as well as the next shot of the L20e. You can make out the leads, rocker cover and hot intake (dough) shows up fairly clearly. As well as the radiator down the bottom. Alraming to find out the Delta T or temp diff of the air filter to the actual intake manifold increases by quite a bit. (Air filter temp was 24c at the time this shot was taken) This is because the intakes sits above the exhaust manifold. Anyways, these were taken basicly as soon as I got the cam, but am now qualifed, I have just finished my course and have a Level 1 CIT (Cert. in Infrared Thermography) from the Infraspection Institute and will probebly be going on to Level 2 so I can do quantative reports. Anywho, thought it was interesting. Keen to go back over it now I actually know what I'm doing!!
  16. ROFLage! I sure do, but they on there at the mo, go skinny steelies man in the guards. Just got some "big" 185's on the front. (175's still down the back! ) Haha, just joking, don't do it. Get these http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 19.htm?p=3 and you too can be part of the one man club of "10" Steelies on Ceddy's Club". Was that the one I emailed you about, in Picton or somewhere?
  17. So I'd have to change the whole rear end? Can't just hack the back axle's back? Yeah, going to have to LSD it cause the plan ATM is to put a L28et (280zx) in after the paint job. Mate that up to the L20et manual conversion I allready have and then run it to some sort of lsd rear end.
  18. Nice going mate, looking good! Twin rear wipers all the way!!! And 7M = x2 ( )
  19. Cheers for all those mate, they can be added to my growing cedric collection! Seen a few, but allways good to see again! In the pictures of the undercarigde, is that ceddy running airbags or shocks? Is shortining the back axle a legal (need to be certed) issue for a WoF? Even if it's like, a inch or two each side.
  20. Good choice of choice cars mate, HF's and 124's are ors! My old man had one back in the day and the front axle snaped on a gravel road right before a bridge. = 1 less 124 around. Don't mod it too hard. Any idea on how much the Lancia weighs in at?
  21. Good thinking batman!! Looks just like like mine when it was up on the hoists. That's what Nissans looked like in them days.
  22. Too right!! If he that dude has modifyed his guards, he's done a awesome job of it. Since it's the only place missing the chrome trim I'm wouldn't be suprised if somethings been done to it only than rolling. Nice job if he has cause it looks stock.
  23. I concur. Can someone please tell me how he's managed to get these to fit? I mean comeon!! P.S This is so going to be double posted. At least. Definatly. Probebly like, at least 3 or 4 times. Maybe more. Def more. Just cause it's sooo ors
