yeh just give them a good clean/polish with the mothers stuff, (works well, used it b4) then silicon spray them. helps to repel water from sitting in spots. try using crc on the insides of them too, cos if the outside surfaces are starting to rust ... watch out the for the insides

sounds like you've got just old saggy suspesion, lowering a escort 2 inches will be sweeet, just do it right the 1st time. dobi sport do some 2 inch lowered coils for the front, get some new shocks shortened to keep the coils captive. if you've got the money, get new nolathane bushes etc for up front. leaves, get new shocks in the rear, either take out your leaves and get them compressed, archers or snells springs, and ask them to add an extra leaf in to stiffen them up, or just get some two inch lowring blocks made for the rear with new U bolts to suit

just gotta find some original hubcaps, some south islanders must have them

yeh it was the 1 on trademe with 18" simmons and the series 1 (10a) rx3 front on it, got it cheaper as i already have 17's for it, and rx3 nosecones are worth up to 2grand. the 17's dont look the best on it, so am just thinking of finding some 808 hub-caps and getting white-walled tyres, lowering it a bit more too cheers for the comments everyone, now jsut gotta do the hard part and save the cash to paint it. yeh roof racks will probly stay on, depends what 'theme' i go with. white walls, hubcaps = roof racks stay on. if i decide to put on the 17's once its lower, then the roof-racks will go.

shit, that was quick, cheers guys for the comments, wasnt planning on selling the seven, but i got offered money i couldnt refuse. the 808 has a 13B bridgeport already fitted, 48mm IDA,rx5 gearbox. going to upgrade the rear end, either B1600 lsd modded to suit, or just find a bolt in mazdaspeed lsd head. re-spray is happening soon too, its all original paint, so as the seven was, its showing its age in a few places, but overall the car is mint, interior is all factory and mint too. got it for less than what i sold the seven for too

sorry i just dont like those gold rims u got on the rear! fuck trying to fit them and drive without messing up your guards. just find some rims that'l fit in there without flares. lipping guards is about as far as i'd go

surge tanks are a major benefit, specially with hard corning and acceleration. been a in car that had a surge tank mounted in the boot, and got no fumes wat so ever in the car, nothing that i noticed anyway

yeh man, the engine is all good, the carb that he had on it was f**kd, so im sorting all the little things out ... got a elec dizzy for it, new plugs leads etc, getting a new 4barrel for it too, so hoping its out n about again soon

yeh used that car as a doner for the engine, sold the rest of the running gear and most of the interior parts out of it too, pretty much made my money back on the car why you ask?

papakura engine specialist in takanini are real good when it comes to stuff like this. but yeh, save a bit more coin before you start ringing round or going to places looking for quotes

look good, the rx4 is my favourite of the early rotary's. sedans especially, but the coupes are still all good they dont seem to fetch as much money as the rx2 or 3's tho, probably the same over in auzzie?

Lookin good there!!! the crager modgies look real good, better than mangel ones imo. the paint original, or just original colour, looks good anyways. the sticker not too sure, its not even proper bombing, just that font that you can get off the web, printed onto a sticker, if you like that style (stickers down the side) you should try finding some1 that can do proper bombing and make it up, but that aint cheap, so yeh ... looks way better than the crown
