Who's got torque settigns for a Mazda MA block 2000cc ohc motor? ala 929, 626, maybe luce, ford courier etc. Come on guys, thought I had settings but I dont!

Hopefully should have the red wags up with a carload of true and trusted and a trailer for my 13bt. We'll see how we go, kinda depends wether I can build and swap the motor in time,

Amen, And a half decent oiling system, found out thats how my MA llocks are all shat up, the oil drain to the front main bearing is shithouse.

Just picked up a pinto attached to an escort 4speed for a box of beers. Missing dizzy etc its not a priority right now just thought I'd pick it up. What blocks are good etc? This ones got an exposed cam gear and a kind of heat sink looking tappet cover. Cortina? What parts are worth coin?

We used a 7rib for a 4age turbs cause they are the only ones supposed to be strong enough to handle any decent boost.

Merc did that, it was a spring in the caliper that had gotten sticky.

Who knows which is best? square exhaust port or round exhaust port. either one will be running a larger cam with double valve springs and both are ported. Square port head looks like could have better flow and maybe higher compression. What are ya thoughts

Got a motor thats basicly the block with very few peripheral parts so yeah, Best way to go about setting up a performance ignition system for a 13bt? Standard coil packs or buy MSD shit?

Quick update: Welldeck is off now, motor/box is out and heaps of other things have been removed. Chassis tidied up and I'm investigating getting my new rear chassis built. Got my 15x10 modgies with 295's coming down some time. Put new floor in and have started stripping parts back. remove front guards,lights,valance etc, guards are as mint as can be. Managed to remove the bonnet skin from its subframe to get that all mint, Am thinking I'll have to reinforce the nose to deal with speed. bonnet skin is 1mm steel, subframe is .8mm. Mazda werent too keen on overengineering. Got a Proper 1200 ute wellside with tailights etc coming as well as a bonnet badge. Found a cheap as S5 13bt which would fit the bill pretty well. Been a bit lazy cause I've been sleeping/ doing sounds in my 929 but am hoping to get cutting again next few days. Found a dead mouse in the A- pillar too...

Just pulled wellside off, took ages as had to cut through a 1/2"x 4" steel plate holding a silly towbar on Chassis is MINT after a waterblast. I feel bad cause its so mint but I'm gonna cut it all out for the 4 link and tubs! So light, can grab back of chassis and lift both rear wheels off ground.
