  1. I've often wondered how plausible it would be to adapt the front end out of a mid 2000's nissan. They're a heavier car, (pushing 1850+kgs) yet have handling these mighty and venerable mopars could only dream of. I myself am all in favour of the proposed upgrade. Mainly because I can copy it for minimal cost/effort. I think you'd definitely want to also brace the lower arm, as seen on you tube. And after seeing that undercar video of a certain white vg sedan, I'm not really a fan of the under engineered top arm mounts either. (They almost always crack)
  2. My advise is to draw vertical lines around the seat in vivid so you can see when you've got good contact. And go easy with the coarse paste. It's quite easy to sink the valve quite deep into the seat. The deeper the valve sits, hurts flow.
  3. Theres a hefty chance I'll be exceeding the breath alcohol limit. I enjoyed smash last year. I did.not enjoy the 2.9km limp there from.the motel. I'm also quite keen to go visit some local datsun fiends too. My adventure begins in under two weeks.......
  4. Camping out of car is one thing. Scooter based camping is a lot less comfortable. That motel is gizzy is pretty plush. If I ever find myself there I'd stay there again.
  5. This needs to be moar slammed than your toyota. (The silver one, I dont know what model it was/is)
  6. Which steed you riding this year @sentra? Smokey Sue again?
  7. Fuck this is mad close now! I still need to burn out my pipe, and do a wheel bearing on my trailer.
  8. Hey J5, can I crash at yours the evening prior again please?
  9. So the cord line must be the centre of the belt then? Or the inside circumference, plus the outside circumference divided by two. Maybe not quite. But yeah.
  10. My query for tech spam is, From.which point is the length of PK belts measured? Ie, from the trough of the Vee ribs, the top of the ribs, or the flat back of the belt? I need to buy a belt, and I have a very limited range of adjustment. I have all the cbf's to go back to the shop 25 times to get the right thing.
  11. ^^^^exactly what sparky said. Up until a few months ago, I didn't even know Blacks sold cheese bolts. (Low tensile) Just go to blacks, and when you're paying tell them [my place of work] cash sale please @Bling. You'll get a pretty decent deal. I havent been asked for my staff ID for years when doing that. But if they ask say ah fuck it's in the truck at work.
  12. @johnnyfive Yeah I'm two wheeling it fo sho. Old sausage fingers must have herp-a-durped the entry from. If that digital rally notes is done far enough in advance, I'd print my copy. Or maybe @- i5oogt - could run off 40 sheets, and I'll bring them up. (I dont have any means of printing shit myself)
  13. I too would be ecstatic to not visit a hospital this time. Probably have more fun not all bruised up to shit as well.
  14. Posting about changing bulbs on this un spam reminded me about your supercharger Shuzz. After following a range rover with a supercharged badge in traffic I started thinking about your truck. A quick Google reveals that the jagwaaaars ran the next gen Eaton unit called a TVS. They sound heaps better than the old M series Eatons. Tl;dr that blower is heaps to big and awesome for an old diesel truck. You should post it to me, and I'll send you a shitty old m62/m90 instead.
  15. Those autos are very very tough. But they soak all the horsepower. I would 100% Manwell convert it. Those rhl sunny badges always turn to dust. The UV kills them. The rhl seats usually turn to shit too. The shl ones had better fabric.
  16. I know we aren't supposed to shitpost this thread, but I'm getting very amped!
