  1. Great pictures everyone. Looks like another epic oddessy. If I put of a pair of socks and undies straight out of the washing machine it would be just like being there.
  2. A Panasonic tough pad is probably not cheap, but they're durable. They're available with a keyboard attached too. The one I use to run RAMM was MOONBEAMS becauee of the built in GPS transceiver thingy
  3. I did a course on Monday just been. Quite a few guys there from the marlborough roads recovery team there. They reckoned french pass should be done by xmas. But they werent optimistic about Kenepuru rd.
  4. I just stopped by to ask, if you'll be on the dyno before drag day? And also to say, Damn those god damned torpedoes! Dont you dare run a lower redline for a drag day. If you dont rev your engine to the moon, even for just that one day, I'll block you. Plus if you scatter the block, someone is sure to be filming. So we can all enjoy your offerings to the gods of speed. (Over and over)
  5. Dave liked them before they were cool......
  6. Hey Tortoise, I had a gander at that cogbox today. Shes a hydro clutch. @Brdflu reckons it came out of a u13. Unknown condition. Free to any home.
  7. Its actually dust proofing too. It forms an airtight (ish) seal.

  9. Plastic underneath door cards, I already learned you can use greenhouse plastic sold off the roll at mitre10 off this site. But what is the exact product used to glue it on?
  10. I had the same problem with that fucking cunting cocksucking 4x4 primera I had. The next day another set of eyes found a bolt we'd missed.
  11. Surge tanks arent a "must" but having the engine fall on its face when you're below a 1/4 tank gets old. Surge tanks are last century tech. All the cool kids fit an in-tank swirl pot. Not me, My aliexpress surge tank arrived about 6 weeks ago.
  12. Is that port on the block the vacuum advance feed nipple?
  13. ^interesting. Mine I just ran the line from the throttle plate to the manifold well after the carb. I used a 2, (or 2.5? I dont recall exactly) inch of vacuum PV. (It was the lowest number you can buy) this must have had the weakest spring, meaning it could be held shut by only 2 inches. I only had to breath on the throttle, and my vacuum dropped to zero. (In most cases it was near impossible to accelerate without making at least some boost) but at cruise, it was defo closed. (Which made it fucking amazing on gas on a long run. (Compared to the 32/36 it replaced)
  14. ^^ that odd, cos all the books I've read say to open those up for more gas. Theres a new carb released by edlebrock (apparently Holley are getting out of carbs all together) which is in the Holley style, and has removable jets in the power valve orifaces. Rule of thumb is to pick a number half your idle vacuum figure.
  15. Fun fact, SR20 primera clutch disc is 200mm, and uses the exact same spline as an A series datsun.
  16. The milk dribbled down his chin and partly washed off his make up.
