  1. looks like sapporo headlights/grill... pretty fugly either way.
  2. starion looks awesome, blacks a great colour for them, just looks tough ive only seen on stazza since ive been in oz, and that was a junker behind a workshop. i miss nz car variety.
  3. sorta what i was thinking... but i was just gona suggest some bolt on adaptors... cert guy would be far happier with them than some dodge re-drilling...
  4. small update, finally got the 15s on the ute instead of the 20's... went from this, to this.... some say its going backwards, but i plain dont like big rims on old cars. but i will keep the 20s, who knows when il change my mind lol
  5. right, sold my old surf and bought me a '88 xf falcon ute. minor mods, stainless big bore, good extractors, cold air intake, XR6 headlights, hard cover, good stereo, recon motor, kelford cam, reset rear leaves, V8 coils in front, XR6 seats, 20 in rims blah blah bad pic... bought some trademe 15x8s with tyres, not really a fan of huge diameter rims on old cars... got a steering wheel as well of tardme, just need a boss kit now, also getting door trims trimmed in real dark grey velour, much better than plastic... hopefully itl come out all right, need a decent paint job as well ive been wanting a good ute for ages and this one has had a hell of alot of money spent on it already, so i can just finish it off.
  6. fuck, ive always wanted one of them.... they go for silly money when they come up for sale tho...
  7. yeah, already loked into garden edging, and good idea, except cant get cert with it definitly looks the part now
  8. i know, not really oldschool, but hey... just imagine its a ke70 wagon with big tyres this is my surf when i first got it, after a nice wash all 2.4 litres of turbo diesel slowness... speed cameras are no longer a cause for a minor heart attack got sick of the puny pajero rims and useless (although brand new) tyres, so went shopping on trademe and found a nice set of 15x8 alloys that have a rather large set of tyres measuring in at 33x12.5x15 thats 5 inches taller than my old tyres, and nearly double the width and this is how it looks after chucking the 33's on, and losing a few minor bits of plastic and steel around the front and this one shows how big my flares are going to have to be where will i find flares to fit? if even available... i looked on 4wdbits but couldnt find any flares of any type, or on trademe... oh, and i still have my trueno, its just hibernating in the garage until i decide i like it again
  9. looks way more badass now... do the graphics, and some more agressive camber on the front and itl be damn near perfect
  10. 3.6 would be buick/holden/chev etc wouldnt it?
  11. where abouts in dunners is that pic taken? looks so damn familiar but i cant pik the road
  12. just put a flat tray on it... like the old holden one tonners... would look mean if done properly
  13. haha, if we're going that way... i heard 1uz's have the bestest alternators....
  14. Thats what I was refering to. yeah fair enuff
  15. eeerrr?? as long as he didnt go completely silly then it would be fine, and the added handling in the corners (where it matters) would more than make up for it...
  16. 17 inch tyres are cheap as chips these days, heaps of neg' camber ftw.
  17. yeah, alternator for sure... it was just running off the charge in the battery, once that went flat you were shagged...
  18. is it actually legal to have them like that? wouldnt they be like really susceptible to the tyre being knocked off the bead of the rim?
  19. yeah, considering how little info there is on the auction your probably right...
  20. yeah that is mint all right, a nice set of superlights would look minter. sekta's suk.
  21. its just cos its an old tech N/A dude, would have been much cheaper if it was something more popular. unique costs money, no way around it really. really, its only a true ford enthuiast that will pay the money for an engine like that. buy the motor, buy an anglebox stick the two together and youd have one beast of a car. presuming of course a pinto even fits in an anglebox.
  22. do it in nelson, more central than , umm, elsewhere.
  23. we wernt having a dig at yours dude.... meant the esky auction.
  24. yeah, as far as mk11 esky four doors go its actually no a bad looking one either. and your right, might get more interest if he put some info on there. or amybe its a rough as job, thats why he dosnt mention it.
  25. yeah, auction is a bit vague lol.
