    warants

Then delete the offending posts, about the cars that are recognisable
  2. My logic being that it you wont need to get rid of the console, I didn't and there is still room for everything. Ill get a photo when I get my Headunit back and put interior back in around it, should be any time soon.
  3. Yep keep the brakes, much bigger than standard escort ones. If you want to go to the trouble of shortening the diff down to suit, it will be much stronger also. This will give you good ratios, bigger brakes and the opportunity to cut it down a bit more than the escort one so you can fit bigger wheels on it and keep them under the guards....like i did
  4. IM FUCKING TRYING TO COVER THAT IN MY HOW-FUCKING-TO!!!! Aherm, sorry all, pent up frustration from sitting here all night typing, not ment to offend, unfortunately, it most likely will The wee mounts on the sides of the tunnel have threads built into them: What I did was cut the threads out and sandwitch'd them onto my new g/b mounts, as such: Oh god, its numb from my guts down, that cannot be healthy
  5. The 2L box fits all engines from 1100 to 3.0 V6. Everyone says about celica boxes because the cars in magazines have them and thats all they know - they read it in a magazine. These guys had massive budgets so went all out. Its probably much stronger than a sierra box but u shouldnt blow it with your motor if you drive it half normally. Even so, if blown, it wont cost much to get another one.
  6. For a Sierra box you wont need to butcher shit, all you need to do is take off the two wee mounts on the side of the tunnel and the big half-circle one in the middle.
  7. Im workin on a how to in the very near future! The Sierra box fits all engines from 1100 block though 2L block. I wouldnt worry anout a Celica box, you would need an auto tunnel and heaps more money to pay for it, plus the bellhousing wont fit, driveshaft and UJs probably wont either. Mounts will be included in my how to, with pix. Damn you to hell Kyteler, posting while I am trying to type mine!
  8. I use your links and tell others about them all the time, very worthwile!

    dellorto help

Is your car a blue mexico replica? Was it in John Keasts workshop getting a pedal box put in? Go southland!
  10. I cant see this as a good idea.... Nolathane is sposed 2 tighten up your suspension, putting urethane in ur mounts will tighten them up, putting all stress str8 into ur chassis. Unless its a different grade of urthane
  11. Well man thats my favourite RS of all time, words just dont convey my love for it....
  12. well shit me, my rs radar is goin nuts! i think 'tango' is the car ive been pulling myself over videos of for ages! This car skids up in a BIG way! please do check it out, its on a few diff pages... http://rs2000.mine.nu/site/home/escort/videos/page9.htm

  16. bro, just look in the boot above the seat and that tin u c is whats under the card.
  17. Im gonna get my G/b, 2L, Wide Wheels, Flared Guards, Seat Mounts, Suspension and wallet lightening all done at once. I was spinnin a yarn 2 the cert guy 2day n he sees no problem with what im doin, but i forgot 2 say bout the guard pumping and my theory....this being that RS2000's came out in oz as a 4dr option with a factory 2L motor, these were dead safe and identical 2 our mk2s so why do we have to cert a 2L in NZ?
