easy way to check get a jack and a block of wood and SLOWLEY jack the motor up a WEE bit then start motor noise all but gone problem solved it will still make some noise while sitting on jack oh and by the way DONT sit in the car while car on jack will defently feck ya mounts

hope the new one was balanced. at what speed it start doing the shake could be many things as in gearbox mount could be fecked flywheel loose the list is endless start at the front of car and anything you had apart or replaced check out but its normaly the driveshaft that will do it just because its new it can still go outa balance real quick ie the balance weight can fall off

put car into 4th gear and with foot on brake pedal slowley let out clutch and hey presto no running on

NEWS FLASH !!!!!!!!!!!!! the fucking thing will now run on about 3 and then die I tell ya its gunna die soon by B F H shortly am going to buy fresh plugs and some av gas and give it a try

Hi folks another newbie here needing help I have a mk1 escort 2 dr bubble flares 8inch mini lites 2000cc twin carbs and the twin carbs are not playing fair the gas pumps in them dont work and im thinking something is missing any one have a picture of the underside of a 45 side drft carb or a link to a site with pictures thanks in advance Adrian
