  2. Full goin...To see the Cortina Wagon. Hook him with some oldschool merch or sticker to chuck on stand = ups image hard.
  3. Haha. 4.1 litres of automatic transferred cruzin goodness
  4. Wow i love that man, fully sick. Stoked its a Chch car too, should see/hear in person cruzin sometime. How is bairds workmanship? Havent seen much. I work at brands hatch restorations on wilsons road. Do you know that tall dude with semi afro at bairds, cant remember his name but I know of him. Think he has a blue pearl commodore project. Anyhow, brilliant car, dad had a white one with red stripe and red interior before my time. these are a sick shape. 'rotary wagon' badge is a nice touch too. Dont worry ida wankel'd it too! Good luck for the nats, you have my vote already.
  5. No badge, gutting. If i cant find one (very probable) will get one etched out and chromed, may make a few for other/back-ups/ gangsta bling on bigass chain styles. Thanks Dane, hope we score something. No updates as this project is on the downlow for now, have to get the esky much further on if not finished before touch the vanage. It is cool, crazy potential indeed. The foot-vent is just the beginning of the complete oldschool-ness of it, its basic as, and everything is manually operated Shot for the interest!

Yeah SYKO, thats fuckin horny as. Im hiding the wiring in the scrote, mite as well as im goin for the super clean mrs green look and its all going to have to be re loomed and wired anyway. mmmm injected turbo twincamy goodness..cant wait
  7. Cool. Obviously cant make it, but would really appreciate pictures if at all possible? Hope she goes down without a hitch
  8. Cool ride. The guy my old man bought his Capri off in invy had a browny gold one, absolutely mint. They crack me up. Your fabrication isnt too shabby, doin the trick! Keep us informed, interesting build p.s. Would look mongrel dumped over tridies, do it!!
  9. Twin drains! Twin drains!
  10. Sick bro, its tiny! Glad its not too shagged aye. Id recommend finding someone who acid-dips panels (the removable ones) as opposed to sandblasting them, can warp the shit out of them, hardly worth the risk. Sandblast front end and bed, underside and stuff but other big panels eg. roof, paint strip. Likin the idea of hubbies on front and feral big fuckers on the back
  11. Looks really fuckin good, nice colour choice. If I were you Id lower it quite a bit, would look unbeatable. Leave rest dead standard
  12. Hey all, Motivation lacking presently, managed to get roof and rear panel finished and into primer over the xmas holidays, blocked some more..thats about it. But I bought this mongrel beast ex hearse a fortnight ago, Keepin in bogan. Since buying ive tinted rears in 5% and fronts in 35%, sifted round the house and found 2 12's, 2 6's and a Jensen amp. Running off my flatties pioneer mp3 headdie. Goes alright. Cars all good, needs to be far lower, but all in all reliable and straight. 13. No new updates really, just a few wee bits cleaned up inside.
  14. It will be bare metalled, i cant happily do it any other way! Was always getting that wheel treatment. Yea, glad you got the silvia and are happy.
  15. Shameless BUD promotional material. Note the cleaning line in middle of sliding door!
  16. Thanks. Got pix of the crazy foot vent, haha.
  17. The lil flap is a foot operated vent, my favourite part of the thing! ill get pix when its light again. Appreciative as of the photos! Funny you mentioned brown, I spent all day hungover as photoshopping:
  18. Cheers, yea man it would be wicked, Wish mine was as pristine as above picture! REALLY need that badge for the front, understandably someones taxed mine.
  19. Discussion Thread //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/23741-filthy-ones-f1000-van-from-mrmk1/?hl=bongo Hey all and Welcome. This is ma Bongo van I picked up rather cheap on Wednesday. It was love at first sight and i couldnt leave it rotting away in the paddock so I snapped it up, if nothing else its cheap storage haha. Its Supposed to be a 1000cc rear engined beast Running through a 4speed box, has Independant Rear Suspension, Body over Chassis Setup, so ya can unbolt the body and take it off. The photos are as it was as soon as I got it, now ive cleaned it out and scraped the many species of lichen and moss off it, also got a Dr. Hibbert with an afro figurine hangin from the mirror. Im thinking it would suit a rotary conversion, Dirty old Bridgeport in a random as van like this would surely crack a few grins from onlookers. Going to straighten out the hubcaps and paint the rims, chuck a set of whitewalls on and slam the shit out of it. Will do a random as restitch of upholstery and some couch action in the back, mega sounds install, Disco ball, the usual Not entirely sure about the paint scheme, But id like to rock the two tone again. 2 tone brown? yellow and black bumblebee steez? Mystery Machine guise? Whatever I do, its going to be a while off as the Escort takes priority.
  20. another good product to use is Hammerite, just brushes on and self levels so it goes nice and smooth and glossy. Goes over bare metal and paint.
  21. Ok, Heres some pictures, the latest: _Floor stripped of all underseal and sealer_ _My new steering wheel _ _Front on with my special edition footstool_ _Polishing sand blasted lock_ _As-new sandblasted and Zinced locks_ _Side with rear and rear quater blocked_
