  1. RaceKa guards were about £1000 when new, and rocking horse poo now. The grey cosKa above actually has sportKa bumpers and guards, not as wide as raceKa ones, but better looking IMO. Been thinking about seeing what a set of sportKa bumpers would cost to freight from blighty, would let me fit some proper wide wheels on, at the moment i'm pretty much limited to 7's on the front with standard arches.
  2. Yeah, I always hated the evo4 red fabric, looked really rude mismatched to the stock rear seats.
  3. Well despite a long period of denial, i have given in and in in anticipation of selling the brumby bought this: a 2003 ford ka, 1300c of eyeball ripping power. So far i have ditched the awful factory seats and replaced them with these: Plans are: lower it, decent wheels and tyres, go and thrash it some. Also been having evil thoughts about a quick and dirty supercharger conversion.. we'll see. Cheers, Dan
  4. an 1888 full suspension bicycle built from scratch. http://www.retrobike.co.uk/articles/who-is-paul-brodie-and-what-does-he-do-in-his-shop/ There are links at the bottom of each update with the next article.
  5. Presumably there will be some form of slab/driveway in front of the doors, if so you could cast some retractable bollards in, either manual or auto. A la: http://www.sopers.co.nz/products/-p8228.php Has the added security of being highly visible too.. though this could also work against you, plus depending on the door type they might prevent the doors being opened if hte bollards are up. (though this could be a pain if you forget and try to open door form inside shed...
  6. Bit of a lol. TT v12 legacy.... http://www.performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?67274376-Cracka-s-white-boy-shitbox-Gen-3-Liberty.-TT-V6-wouldn-t-fit-so-now-V12
  7. Lack of cylinders could be easily accounted for with IDA's on high rise manifolds... Or find an old porker motor, would be spendy but sweet..
  8. Dam i just came here to post that. Mildy keen on it myself, but alas, tis not what im after atm. doite. Hot diggity! I am super keen on that merc 8 pack. Have been cranking the job search up to 11 so I can buy it. Also, Keegan (japawagons) came over on the weekend to pickup a surfboard I sold him. He happens to be a bit of a fiat expert and has managed to source me some self adjusting wheel cylinders for this thing! coming monday, so stoked. will finally have this bitch legal, bring on summer wagoneering! Maximum profit if you get it and leave the whole motor looking as haggard and dirty as it does right there, extra points for remnants of rodents and pine needles..
  9. Tis a shame the crankshaft is not supported in both ends of the crankcase, could then couple all of the motors in one long line, no side loading then..
  10. It's wider than a smallblock, but narrower than a rover.
  11. Solo seat could work in a 'that so doens't suit the style of bike' kind of way..
  12. Older merc 8's are pretty compact, bit pooze for power though i think..
  13. 4 motion volkwagen box might be worth looking into, will be spendy though. Also there are 2 types of transverse vw boxes, one with a viscous centre coupling (syncro) and one with a computer controlled one. (haldex) Off the top of my head a 4motion golf box will be viscous, audi s3, tt, and r32 golf will be electronic.
