  1. Just too difficult to find anything in 14x7 in 4x114.3 here. Japan made the sense.
  2. These have had heaps of use! Did 3 years in the back of the Datsun!
  3. Tridies. by Richard Opie, on Flickr Decided the 6-inch pair looked stupid so brought in another pair of 7's from Japan, much better. 165/55/14 is a bit small though. Will polish and add bigger tyres then cruise some more. These are shank nut type though so now I need some shank nuts. Blergh. Looks super cool.
  4. All I know is.... I'm real keen for a drive somewhere.
  5. Inserts with an eye mount at the bottom?
  6. Made things a bit more cruise worthy over the course of the last week. Trump 2500S-5 by Richard Opie, on Flickr Slapped a lush JVC mechless head unit in, this bitch has 4V preouts and a reasonable EQ. It's also super compact depthwise so I can fit it in the limited space behind the sumptuous veneer of the Triumph center console. Trump 2500S-1 by Richard Opie, on Flickr A swag of cables run under the carpet and through holes I mangled in the sheetmetal to the boot, to this primo Image Dynamics 4 ch amp, which I am running with 2 channels bridged into this: Trump 2500S-7 by Richard Opie, on Flickr A dual 2ohm voice coil 10" Image Dynamics sub, in a box cut for me by Dave Jackson, and trimmed by Greg at Midnight Upholstery in a sweet shade of Triumph tan. Trump 2500S-6 by Richard Opie, on Flickr Trump 2500S-4 by Richard Opie, on Flickr The front 2 channels run these old Pioneer TS-X11 I've had for years, they sound incredible for their size and vintage. I have them running through a high pass filter, so nothing under 100hz makes it to them so hopefully it prolongs their life a bit. Trump 2500S-3 by Richard Opie, on Flickr Trump 2500S-2 by Richard Opie, on Flickr After Raizer posted the Krusty Seal of Approval in the discussion thread, I went on an e-search looking for someone who surely, made these as a sticker. I found these on a tumblr style site thing and sent an email then boom all of a sudden a couple of them ended up at my place, all the way from Ireland of all places. Then George went to Goodwood, and I requested a Goodwood sticker so I could apply as so to the rear screen of my British automobile. TL;DR? Doof and stickers. I also got a new 2" exhaust (the guy stuck a 2" on it of his own accord) but I didn't take any pics. It sounds fruity.
  7. Cheers team was good yarns and feeds and roid raging Audi hooners!
  8. Hi Hamfolks I have to come down to grab a sub box off the magical trimming man that is Gregnight Upholstery. So let's have a feed? 7pm Banh mi Caphe 198 Victoria St Hamilton It's Vietnamese, they have pretty cheep eats. Holla.
  9. I'm good at making cups of tea and shit coffee so if you need that give me a shout
  10. I've got this series. I looked at buying through online places but it was only going to be a few bucks diff to buy local from Neil Allport in the instance that I got pinged GST/duty. http://www.stackltd.com/instruments.html#Stepper Otherwise I found Merlin Motorsport one of the cheaper places. The cheaper VDO don't enjoy a good reputation for accuracy, at least when I was doing my research on this stuff before I bought mine. SPA design is another brand you might want to consider.
  11. Hi hi hi all. Hey it's Caffeine and Classics time again this weekend! At Smales Farm like usual on the North Shore. Publicly viewable event details right here! https://www.facebook.com/events/2155865114638756/ Be neat to see some folk, let's kick summer off with a gathering there and some yarns about cool stuff to do in old cars over the warmer months! Be there!!! Sunday. SUNDAY!! SUNDAY!!!!!
  12. Right now? It's languishing in the garage a bit, next step is to sort the gearbox crossmember to meet cert requirements, and get the driveshaft shortened, new UJ's and balanced.

Project_KP61_4AGE_2016 -1289 by Richard Opie, on Flickr Then it doorts off down the middle of the car. Project_KP61_4AGE_2016 -1307 by Richard Opie, on Flickr Resonator all snugged up beneath the factory heatshield. Project_KP61_4AGE_2016 -1318 by Richard Opie, on Flickr Looking down the guts (yes the driveshaft is going to fit!).
  14. Some good quality stainless steel mufflers and a 2.5" stainless exhaust is now on the car. Project_KP61_4AGE_2016 (1285) by Richard Opie, on Flickr Project_KP61_4AGE_2016 -1300 by Richard Opie, on Flickr Will put some more up later, Brendan did a great job.
  15. MG Classic is on at Manfeild, any of you jokers coming for a looksee? I decided I'd drive down for a look, cos' I love classic racing. Anyway. It's like $20 and it's always cool as hell. Might see some of you there. I'll be the dude hanging out by himself!

  17. Shit m8 I went thru Greytown on Sunday too. I should've checked.
  18. Super keen to see some detail on the S1 Esprit if you get an opportunity! What an interesting car. The Eureka is super sweet too, must get along well!
  19. That sucks a bit, what defines readily accessible? The cluster is 4 screws to remove and reveal the masters so is that considered 'ready' enough do you reckon? Or does it have to be an unobstructed install? Thanks, the length I can't remember off the top of my head I'd need to go and measure, unsure how they feel at the moment but I think they'll be on the stiffer side rather than the softer.
