Does anyone have a50 or a100 parts kicking around?
After a baffle, side stand and brake lever???

Baffles are rare as, they've usually lost the asbestos blanket they're wrapped in and the steel is rotten. I ended up remaking one last time. Not too difficult.

If you still wanna go OEM you'll find them on Ebay. Pretty sure B120, B100, A100 etc will all fit. The A50 ones are a bit shorter but fit. Be aware they changed the outlet diameter depending on the year just to be a PITA.

Brake levers are universal or near as dammit unless you want a showroom bike. Do a pitbike search on the tard.

Final offering of shit advice. Go here https://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-a100_model13054/ and you will find all your part numbers. Copy and paste them around the interwebs and Ebay and you will find some dealz.

    Better living etc

  2. CT200 Auto Agggg

PykRLuU.jpgThis is ultimate for rounding up skids and thistle grubbing. 4t 200cc 5 speeds semi-auto with pull start on the side and electric start if you have a battery. Can come up cheap too.

If i was going to go out the back of somewhere, this would be a good choice. many torques, easy riding, racks for beverages and toppers both front and back, comfy soft suspension, Honda dependability. Do try it. I had two but swapped one for the CB50.

  3. AG100

    dxRZPY7.jpgPOsm8oI.jpg

Pick em up for a few bucks. Parts are cheap. Go good enough. Sound good. 2t. not much to go wrong.  First three gears are cockie ratios for cow pulling/singlet wearing/wife beating. Couple more gears after for getting down to the cow shed. Probs not as good as a Mudbug, but half the price.

    Pls do.

    Back for buck = 10/10.

Current project is to put a ag100 motor into an old YB frame to see what happens.

  4. Back to the story. I thought a RV125 would be great. Big baloon tyres, 2t, 5 speeds, rev counter etc. What could go wrong?

    So got this cheeps

    BH5PLuV.jpg

    and it came with another

    INrOPpH.jpg

I then got a third one. Thanks @Raizer

    Low down:

Motor is a bit like a TS185 but not much swaps over, is smaller, and generally flogged out cause they have been used exclusively on beaches which is all they are good for.

The clutch baskets that are as rare as anything and ALL snap off the crap metal drive gear out the back. Keys snap on flywheels and don't come off. The points are an ass to set.

When they run, they go ok, kinda. But fuck they handle shit. Such wide handlebars, fat tyres are hard case but real hard to corner on the road (also tyres are spendy and hard to get)

    Lesson learnt:

The look cool, and if you can get them cheap you can make a heap of money on them*, but unless you need one to complete a collection I wouldn't bother.

Also I probably still have some parts if anyone needs anything.

    *actual results may vary

  5. Actually before that it started like this:

The original farm bike before NZ was even NZ.

    e6YriHp.jpg

Ol m8 Cooks Transport. CT90 KO early vintage - but doesn't have the twin sprockets on the back.

This beastie was seized but then i did paint and shit and it looked different.

    Lesson's learnt:

Leading link is shit. Also shinko's dont like leading link for fit.

Lifan's aren't as great as people will let you believe due to carburetors being cunts.

Not really a farm bike anymore so will find a better sharn.

This bike is due to go on trademe so i can buy other things but covit.
