  1. Man it's like you brought a rotary and every ones brothers uncle's dad had one and they went well till the blew up.

Definitely keen to ride it more. Hopefully the compliance goes easy and your able to get road riding fast.

I forgot to mention I rode ktm300 two stroke for some years till I sold and upgraded to newer bike. Man what fun that was.

Off to trade me I go.

  2. Man it's so good to be riding the vespa again.

It's been since September last year since it was going properly.

Grinning from ear to ear even with the speeding ticket this morning and the fact it owes me more than a cheap reliable car or the likes of a cheap road motorcycle. 10/10 wouldnt trade it for anything else.

Pic of my 15km over speed limit ticket I got the 1st time riding it today.

I'm so gutted that brass monkey isnt going ahead so I'm looking at planning a trip north instead over a few days. If anyone interested in coming for a ride for 5 days from waikato to Cape Reinga or wants to go for a semi decent ride on small bikes sing out. Let's make plans.

And sadly I wont be attending east cape for a 2nd year in a row.

  3. @rusty360 its a pretty common for the side bolster to break down.

If you want to separate the seat and get it down to one item its going to be cheaper for you.

depending on the guy doing the job you will be some where between 120-220 depending how pedantic the person is and how well they are really wanting ti fix the job.

Usually i would cut a large amount of the broken down foam away and replace it with a high dense foam and shape it back to original and then put a layer of 3mm on top to protect that.

you could remove the cover your self and you could buy a hog ring kit and put the cover back on by yourself if you really wanted to. and this way you get to see the finsihed result of the foam repair and see if it a good standard or not.

here is a hog ring kit of ali

@64valiant P.S those FC seats will be coming your way haha

Why thank you. I'll be sure to put that money aside for my own rotary.

I've decided the next car I will be buying/building is going to be a FC, but I'm thinking like a year away so hopefully prices stay average for the likes of s4/s5 rolling bodys and assortment of parts.
