  1. as you would say. DAIM!!! thats nasty! good work man! keep it up hope to find some time to pop round say hello and thank your dad for the other day aslo movies! madmax!
  2. the other day i had an early start milking and it was out passed the vw shoppe so i made the effort to go get some parts. some photos from while i was out there purchased a handle and an interior light. they also had these seat belts out there which i will be back to purchase at a later date they where not retractables and had an old style buckle which is just what im after. oh lol i found the perfect place for my gumboots as well. i also made myself some windlace out of some hose from bunnings and some material left over from the seats i also hit my old red wheels with a wire wheel and made them rust like my rear ones. mainly cause i hated the red and rust was better than full red mixed up some white vinegar, bleach and some salt and sprayed them for a couple of days as well as pissing on them. (lol who wants to change my tyres?) they rusted pretty quick. also went for a drive to auckland to automania (car show that i had entered in) quick stop in pokeno to have an ice cream and make sure the engine was still there. made it to auckland and sorted out the car show business. got best vw, pretty happy about that and yes i wasnt the only vw! and last night i got bored and hit the number plate with a rattle can and some sand paper silver and black plates now. and yup i know cops don't like it and i know the consequences other than that its going super good found some air shocks just need to wait till money comes available for them.
  3. flyingbrick was sifting threw my glove box while we were driving around and he found my cigarette thingy i wanted to install so i could charge my phone so we went to his place and installed it. drilled a hole in my glove box as i didnt want any of it seen kinda jammed it in there and made it look right and then done some wiring...... and made sure it worked BOOM!!!!! i now had a red glowing glove box. time to install the rest of the red neons
  4. here is a photo of how i did the carpet oh i gave it a bloody clean with some thinners to get all my greasy finger prints off it. its surprising how much different it looks from 4 and a bit months ago
  5. here is another photo of my headlining for starters i did the back seats but i didnt get any photos of the process other than i put carpet on them to protect the springs wearing threw the horse hair so yea i completed them on saturday then finished the front seats last night not long before monthly meet. i got them apart to see they had been apart and been repaired before. they needed some more repairing as well so i heading over to a mates and got some welding done on them quite a bit of welding in about 8 different places...... (must have been a fatty in these seats BEFORE i brought them) as you can see in the next few photos horse hair doesnt hold together that well after 40 odd years the white bit of foam is some one else trying to repair it from the top side last time they were apart but what i did was glue a peace of carpet to the base. using it as a spring protector as the carpet is stronger than actual spring protector then i assembled the base (after doing some small alterations to the new cover i had just finished making) bases now look some what like this then time for the backs of the seats gave up and just left them like this dw i didn't. the black plastic bag allows for my cover to slide on extremely easy since its a snug fit and the horse hair shit is super crap to deal with. for you guys wanting to do your own upholstery take that tip on board so yeah done them glued some carpet to my underlay and took this photo ahhh i also got pissed of with the rear been un even ride height so i played with that again and now its looking good. thats it for now but saying that itl probably brake down in a week
  6. was a good turn out! glad i invited a few mates but here are my shitty photos Ollies Landy Ronies bmw Trents little toyota the bug Joshes cressida lets see if we can keep these big numbers for next time.

  10. quick question seedy all. do you have any photos of your bag set up by any chance? just want to be a nosy prick see how yours works. found air shocks that will raise and lower the front.....
  11. no head rest in these bad boy seats. i got low backs so i could see out the vw. may make the parcel try and mirror tint something to lay on it type dealeo. or have the door open and a little mirror to view it.
  12. go back and unlike some things..... you just missed out on liking some fembots as well. but yeah may make up a little board. i have something in my head now, will tell you about it later
  13. you mean kinda like this brent. (this is mainly for flyingbrick cause hes a bit weird)
  14. nice safety boots eh and sweet will pop over when i go to get me pooch cheers. "look up, stupid" reminds me of um looking at females should i say.... could do something along that though to put on the seat like the signs saying "please don't touch" man i always want to touch them to be like HUH!!!! touched it, but i have respect for there cars.
  15. hopefully it gets me sex as well. but more or less hopefully judges like it at future car shows. have to figure out how to make it view-able for spectators and judges as headlinings aren't something people tend to take much notice of (unless your weird like me and only look at upholstery in cars)
  16. cheers man. Wanted it to stand out and be able to showcase what we can do here at the shop. Took a while drawing up all the diamonds let alone stitching them all up. Glad it's only the roof that's a solid panel. Getting excited to see the finished result now!
  17. bit of an update. My steering is so flippen stiff!!! probably should have aloud more clearance but its slowly wearing itself out. makes the valiant feel like its got power steering i also think the vw is broken or its got no oil in it cause after driving it around and parking it up for the night it only left these few dots of oil :/ and i also got a bit busy and done some more upholstery before it looked like this down the back it had these so i broke all the spot welds off and gave it a grind up i had a mate match up some pate for me in a rattle can, i then painted the blue and made it look some what better then i stitched a crap load of diamonds then glued a crap load of diamonds to the roof i also made the vw quieter. were the heater rails are they were just going strait to the back and going no where (cut them off ages ago) so to make it a but nicer in the cabin i did this cut the can in half and grabbed a couple of hose clamps i then did this. MY GOD!!!! thing is so much quieter!!! its amazing!!! um thats it for now i think.......
