  2. At least your wheels match. Also thanks heaps for today I don't think the ute would have made it. We would have got stuck once or twice. Haha thanks man
  3. This week so far........ Well Monday was a bit of a sad day for me , but great day for the girlfriend. I finally got rid of the parts car that I had been cutting up and sitting outside our house looking like a piece of crap for the past 6 months. Saturday has been like an early Japanese Xmas. Aaron and I road tripped up north to a top secret location to pick up our wheels that we have been waiting for a life time (not really just felt like it) we are both over the moon with joy. I will let the photos do the talking. Also some more good news My work equips that I thought were +12 are actually +4 offset.
  4. Scraping the under side is good for a car. It makes it lighter every time you drive it.
  5. Looks good with drift wheels. Its a real different sort of wheel to all the other mx5s run. Good sort of different.
  6. Don't forget we found out why it sounds like a tractor aswell.
  7. Looks good without bumpers. Just put a front air dam ( splitter ) once slammed and it will look sick.
  8. It's been a while bit of an update. Guess what arrived on Friday from Japan??? I've been a bit slack with the updates but basically all I've done is replace the floor under driver and passager seat. Then replaced the crossmember. The crossmember was about days work. Photos Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Next weekends job should be fun
  9. Just a few questions #Do those head light wipers work??? I really hope they do. #Any other plans apart from cleaning? #did you find out stud pattern?

  15. What's your thoughts on drop tank ( fuel cell ). The owner before me has cut out the spare wheel well in the boot to make room for one. Or I could take boot floor out of parts car put a standard fuel tank in. But then I need to think about fuel gauge fuel filler. I'm not running starlet dash using alloy with other after market gauges. So would I be able to use standard fuel tank and sender unit and have an after market gauge? If I wanted to use fuel cell how would I use the standard filling point, any one done it before? Also if I was to use fuel cell it would have to be separate from the rest of the cab ( ute lingo) inside the body. I've seen times were people have put a ugly box over it. it has to be pretty. Any ideas?
  16. Firewall update. This is what I've been up to the last 4 days. Also my dad has told me I can keep the starlet at his place for a few months. Which is great because all the tools are there. Things still to weld up Crossmember Both sides passenger foot well ( floor in the back) Still trying to work out what to do about boot floor I'm thinking drop tank?
  17. Wheels done should be on the car by the weekend.
  18. Off to my dads place to repair firewall. Also found photos of what it looks like now.
