Yea, it's moisting up a storm now. Tailgate party?

Hmm, well it's supposed to be quite wet this afternoon (says it's raining now, but looks pretty dry). So, we can either move to somewhere else, or bring your umbrellas just in case.
There are a few places down Mana esplanade (about as close as you'll get). Usuals like Hells pizza, McDonalds, Subway. Also New World and the usual Fish & Chip shops.

On the topic of wagoneering, vanning and general camping - we are going to be having a little 2018 Welcoming Assembly at our land over the NY period.
We will be up there from the 30th of Dec till the 2nd of Jan - feel free to swing by and stay for a few days or just a night. Might have a big bonfire on NY eve if conditions allow.
Will work in some day trips to local swimming holes and nearby beaches. We don't have ANY facilities except two portaloos so bring bottled water and all other amenities. There is a supi & liquor store and multiple takeaway options three minutes up the road and showers are available at Bizzo's mums for those who don't like to let it fester.
Loooozzz, can we go to this:
And maybe the Eltham cheese factory if it's open?
Please, please, please, please. I promise, I'll be good.

Well alright then. Any suggestions? Or is every one happy with Eastbourne?

If there's interest, we can whack something up. But yea, 21st is getting pretty close to Christmas.
Anyone else keen? Or Peedubs and Kicker can just have their own Mini-meat

I'll be Friday.
Have half a day. So will be aiming to get on the road early arvo.
Whats your guyses plans?
Are you driving or biking? Allan has to work Saturday, so I'm either driving up Friday afternoon or jumping in with someone else.
Shakotom, I'd say a vague time we'd hope to be leaving would be around 10.30-11?

Let's make this a convoy/travel plans thread!
Who's going up on Friday? And when?

Hello, hello,
Daylight savings (or not daylight savings, I can never remember which is which) is upon us! So back to outside, beachy type meets.
This month we'll rocking up to the Hikoikoi Reserve in Petone. There is a parking area at the top in the attached map. Meet up from 6.30 onwards to make the most of that sunshine. There is a large park for fun time activities such as frisbee or, if the wind is about, Kite flying!
Bring along some dinners, there's an assortment of takeaway deliciouses in Petone, and come down (or up) for some sharns and catchups!
