  1. I liked option two for the lights haha. Nice roof rack man, I do prefer than bettle mount though =]
  2. Niiiice man, that interior seems like the day it rolled off the showroom floor!
  3. lol ^^ Just had a flick though your pictures man, it sits real nice when its together! Funny to see someone soldered the base of the pillar!
  4. the one from nelson right? looked really tidy
  5. Been working Really Slow on this atm, nothing much has happened still trying to get these flares sorted.... While im at it I thought i'd get the rears arch tubbed. Does someone know someone or are you someone that can/do a good job of tubbing?
  6. Man I'm digging the widened steels bro, nice and subtle. I like the white top and white stripe paint scheme. It is sooooo much easier to use the orig color hahaha dont have to worry about the door frames and all the nooks and grannies! I tell you what I am looking forward to... That drop! haha should be 3 inch drop though
  7. hahaha Close mate they are 13's! 13's look BIG on a mini! Yeah At the Mo the flares are off as I have had to cut more of the guards away to stop guard rub! It used to chew tires up really bad!
  8. Hey man on the way of motors have you thought of using the z18et or doing a z22+ big T? considering it seems you have a buget constraints in the mean time it is a conversion to consider as all of your mounts and not to mention gearbox are the same. I love 720's I had one Mine had air shocks in the back that you pumped up it gave me more lift when i wanted it
  9. So for my hour of work on the car today I was trying to sort the rear fitment while I was taking off the flares. The last owner must have raised it from the trademe pictures before I got it.. Naturally I want it lower haha. Without camber adjustment on the rear and without the arches cut away the is as low as I dared to go....for now haha. What I was going for What I got. Thought i'd show you how savage these wheels are, not sure on offset.. 13X8's I'm going to have to get that shit arch tubbed pronto! Tires rub out against the flares when its this low...lol Sweeeet
  10. Makes a massive difference having those shiny bits aye!
  11. I have to flares off to fit them properly and I thought I would show you just how important they are! It sucks working with only an hour of sunlight most days!
  12. haha thanks guys, too bad its all show and no go atm. not running that well at all! only on 3 cylinders. It's not done that well so i have to re do alot of it haha, it will get there
  13. Haha thanks man, they are Aero rims I believe 13 inch. not sure on offset yet have not looked for the markings.
  14. One thing I have started doing is sorting the mirrors out. The way they were mounted gave me an orsome view of the sun! They could not be adjusted downwards at all, this was because they were mounted backwards! I can see why he did it though, The mirrors dont look good at all when mounted the right way because they angle out. The Clubmans guard angles downward its not flat so when it was mounted properly the mirrors were not level. I have tried my best to solve this problem, I have taken the base of the LH mirror and attached it to the mirror part of the RH body and vise-versa. So now the mirrors angle in making the mirrors more level. Take note of the mirrors in the pictures. Sorry about the recent ones, I did them tonight.. Whether they look better to you or not... at least they are functional! haha Took Gran for a hoon too!
  15. Hi all, Discussion Page viewtopic.php?f=18&t=35331 Well I am in the process of selling the Datsun project... I am selling because I brought this. I got if off a guy called Cam (not sure if anyone knows him?) from Auckland an drove it back down to Wellington. It was a mission really haha. The car has good points and bad points. Good: Looks really staunch Loving the rims Bodywork is mostly straight Exhaust is excessively loud ( good cos it sounds cool) Paint is surprisingly well done being matt black and all! Sunroof! Worked motor... Fully adjustable suspension Bad: Flares need to be refitted and tidied up. A bit of guard rub (this should be an easy fix) Motor is down on power (I hope it is down on power due to a bad tune...) Exhaust is excessively loud (bad cos its slow...) Not certed for any mod's Interior needs a bit of tlc, not much though. The carb will stay open if I decide to floor it (happened on the auckland motorway ) Spits oil out of breather It seems like there is a lot of "bads" but whenever I drive it none of that matters, it puts a smile on my face and others! Since this has wiped all the money I had and most of my weekly wage is going into other things all I can do is try to eliminate as much of the bad as pos I picked it up with these wheels on it! haha.....I guess they will make good wheels and tires for wof! I put the Gold ones on as soon as i could!
  16. This is what we are talking about
