drive shaft lengths

Hi there someone did a conversion from auto to manual to my mk1 1973 escort it has a 2 piece drive shaft in it at the moment  but there in not much in the gear box do i have to get a custom one made or will a single one fit straight in any idea of lengths

Someone has probably put up a website with all of the different driveshaft lengths and their compatibilities. I'd hit up google for a while and see what you uncover. You're lucky they are a popular model with lots of info available online, many models aren't so lucky.

if you need me to measure mine up let me know, had it made a year or two ago in AKL, its on a mk1 panelvan but i dont think that makes a difference, and its pinto
