Bellicose
what is the total 186 engine coolant quantity in liters. Need to know as I am converting my engine to Evans waterless coolant. Can I ask why? A few mates of mine used 'waterless coolant' in their drag cars and had no end of problems and all have subsequently gone back to proper coolant or have grouted the blocks. fagoff
no corrosion or overheating seems like a good reason,?
Yowzer
It doesn't do anything to prevent overheating BTW. In fact you have more chance of overheating as it has less heat transfer capabilities than water, it's also thicker so your pump has to work harder. What it does so however, due to it's much higher boiling point, it doesn't expand and pressurise your cooling system so there's less chance of bursting anything or ejecting all the coolant if it does overheat.
