Gaz Posted August 11, 2015 Share Posted August 11, 2015 I brought one years back to do the same thing when I converted my Cortina to rack n pinion. Worked perfectly. Will flick old man a text to see if he can locate and what taper was on it. They are expensive, over $150. Cant remember the size I brought and Ive never used it since, think its sitting in my old mans toolbox up norht however he has moverd a number of times since. Brought it from Rotorua in a shop on corner of Depot Street which is no longer there. Cant remember the name though, its where Corys or Ideal Electrical is now. Gaz Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 Checked mine. It won't work sorry. Need an adustable automotive reamer. Auto use specific tapper that varies up the shaft.
