artyone Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 I got one of those way back in 94 and only because another ute I had got picked up and hurled into a tree when a 70's ford station wagon with a big V8 just installed decided to do a speed test after a corner and found me ambling across the road into my sisters driveway. The B1600 was a piece of completely worn out shit but I was desperate to get another ute for all the work I had but it was so shit I only used it to the end of it's warrant then parked it up and ripped off the rusty buggered tray and welded up a flatdeck. Then I bought a set of landcruiser steelies which were well cheap in those days then bought some second hand low profile 16" tyres that came off of a porsche. It was still illegal and undriven about 2 years later but I drove it across town to get it to a new abode and so hated it bouncing around on what felt like caterpillar tracks I sold it as soon as possible.
