peteretep
Basically its all guessing as we dont know friction coefficients on anything in the system (or possible hose types), or the capability of the water pump. It is possible that they are way overrated at new to allow for impeller degradation? Using the steam tables you could only make an estimate on how much flow you would need through the engine? and aim to keep the velocity below a certain value? Testament
Using the steam tables you could only make an estimate on how much flow you would need through the engine? and aim to keep the velocity below a certain value? Its possible to make a reasonable guess on the heat rejection required at full load, then usuing the system pressure and thermostat temperature you can make a reasonable guess at the flowrate through the system. basically there is alot of educated guesses involved but if you are quite educated it would be close enough to work out a comfortable minimum hose size. Llama
I think you'd find getting a hose size close enough to would be the problem? I can take a punt at some calcs after Friday if anyone wants.
