2Rxs
Hi Guys, So we are looking extremely seriously at running a Rotary Summerdrags in Christchurch early next year (In the first 3 months) and are looking at making it a general Old School drag meet as opposed to just Rotors. Wondering how much interest there would be in this type of event & whether or not we should drag our butts down to run it It will be the same format as Rotary Summerdrags but obviously with a few more classes for the Piston vehicles & will have a show and shine & skid comp for anyone who wants to partake. Let me know your thoughts Cheers Tash Ontrack Promotions 021 991 847 http://www.summerdrags.co.nz
NZford
Sounds like a good idea to me. I don't think my car will be ready to enter by early next year but deffinately would be keen to go along and watch. All going well the year after that I can enter

LowTech
Do us rotary guys still need scatter sheilds to go drag racing? Been out of the loop for a few years.
ONTRACK
Yes Rotaries will need scatterblankets or shields & pretty sure I can oepn it up to any olschoolers but I probably won't get away with V8's given the history of the meet
ONTRACK
HUGE apologies everyone but I have been informed tonight that V8 Super Tourers have taken the 10th of March date that was aside for the drag racing club & our event. I am super gutted but we are working hard to try and negotiate a date for later in the year or early next. On the up side more time to make it a more kickass event ) Send your ideas for what makes a great event for you guys through to me tash@summerdrags.co.nz
