Other than that I stood in my engine bay for fucking ages with a strip disk cleaning off the aftermath of a billion cans of paint strip. It worked but there is bound to be a better/easier way. Pretty hard to get anything into the space of my Mini engine bay, so I basically used my hands and some sand paper. phatt20 Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 sandblast the engine bay, nothing brings it up better, im guessing you have one of the 'dip the hose in the bag of sand ' type? they are painstaking to use. i went and bought one of the 'fill the barrel with sand and plug the air pressure into it' type. way better, less blockages and way faster.
