Indiana_Jones
Ahh, just repainted the bay itself, and also painted up everything else that could be seen (just used engine black, and silver too).I'll ask my bro if you can borrow the crane, it should be sweet though. Feel free to pop round whenever Cheers mate _b So did you do a proper spray gun job etc? or spray cans?
SP450andLE
Proper job. Me and a mate prep'd it, and Steve (my boss Steve, not the other Steve ) sprayed it at work

CaMpylobacter
if 70 is the build date then that's just whack, but it's an aussie built mini, aint it? I doubt it's an 'aussie s' however?
SP450andLE
Yep yep, 1970 Morris Mini K. Apparently. I think it's been messed round with a fair bit. Exterior used to blue, and interior was red - without wood dash I think. It also came with a weird alloy rocker cover, says develo or something on it. Oh and it had had a 1300 shoved in it at some stage - the guy we bought it from took it out and put it in his trike lol
CaMpylobacter
yeah that sjust an aftermarket rocker cover. looks like it's had a few bits slammed on from the ultra accesories 60s/70s. speedwell pedal etc. cool score. looks well rooted though
Indiana_Jones
Looks fucked lol. The dash looks like it got nicked from a Hornet or Elf?
CaMpylobacter
prolly aftermarket. seriously, these things used to have an awesome aftermarket support.

SP450andLE
Ummm... No. God no. Never. Ever. Wood is for houses/pants, not cars. Ever. You buy? $50 to you good friend!
Indiana_Jones
lol I have a wooden dash in my car Wood looks lovely I reckon. But a very fair price and if I were in the market for one I'd take you up on it!
SP450andLE
How much would it be worth? It's in pretty good condition, a bit cracked though, but no bits falling off - in other words some nice patina
