CaMpylobacter
I have a nice new set of silicone hoses. They cost me a few bob for real. What I need to work out though, is, will they be fine with 'standard' style worm drive hose clips? the outer coating seems 'softer' than a standard rubber radiator hose. I'm concerned a standard hose clip will go through it like hot butter cuts through a knife before the hose is tight enough to stay on/not leak. If so, what do? I've seen hose clips with slightly rounded edges before but they still seemed 'sharp'

CaMpylobacter
yeah fuck bolt style. not like i'm pushing 50psi of boot through them. only 1 bar of pressuer is against these. might talk the cunt that showed me slightl;y rounded edge ones. i think the 'rack' wasn't just slots, rather a raised profile, like wurth ones, but without the wurth price tag, perhaps. i think they were jubilee brand http://www.jubileeclips.co.uk/products-view-all.aspx
Yowzer
I got silicon on my stz, normal hose clamps cranked up tight, and it hasn't caused any damage to the joiners. They just squished down a bit. Last time I undid them they didn't even have any marks on them.
