lowlancer
Legnum's shitty Uniden alarm/immobiliser is being a little slut and fucking me about. I'll arm it, then come back later to drive and dis-arm it, which works sweet, then turn key and get nothing. Occasionally I'll get what sounds like a relay click. Siren will then wail all over my dick until I manually turn it off. If I disconnect car battery earth it'll usually work sweet again, but is totally intermittant as fuck, so will work one time, then 2 days later or 2 minutes later won't. I downloaded the user manual, and it seems to be doing the opposite, ie: locking the doors but not arming, then when I click the disarm button, it unlocks but seems to be arming. Presumably when I unearth the battery it re-sets it, albeit temporarily. I haven't replaced the remote battery yet, but I can't really see this being the issue given that when it does all work, the remote works fine. Any ideas on tracing this issue? crustywhip
Its a uniden. You can but them from repco for all the DIY fellas. Sounds like a shit ground or dry solder on the main power feed.
