RUNAMUCK Posted September 21, 2010 Share Posted September 21, 2010 at a pinch you can undo the nut, but not remove it completely. Then place a jack under the nut with just enough lift under it that the car has only just moved up 2-3mm. Then get a length of pipe, and rest it on the top side of the arm. Then beat the fuck out of it with a BFH. This works sometimes. I use it on valiants, but I use a valiant torsion bar, which has big(ish) hex's on the ends. But if you do try this, you MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST have the shaft of the steering box supported. Otherwise it will dent the fuck out of your worm and make your steering all notchy and shit. Also the cars suspention will compress and take al the shock out of the blows too. Not best practise, but can do the job. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
