Jase Posted June 25, 2010 Share Posted June 25, 2010 bought a new daily , has suspect bung diff and wouldn't start for old owners, new plugs and leads and plug the cas back in and she's running beauty, will check and or replace diff tommorow. plans, slam adjusty panhard shortened struts and shocks, likely go through my spring collection and mash in till falls on ground wide steels 15" pursuits or 14" poverty spec rims and low pro's all round stretch? Jase Posted June 27, 2010 Author Share Posted June 27, 2010 battery rattle gun wouldn't play the game so i got creative preloaded with a tie down and tappy tap with the hammer, both pinion bearings shagged apparently there are two in a borgwarner 78, found other useful info falcon borg has alloy cover with pinion etc for a wats link so off to get one for the gemi next week stoked will pull axles and replace pinched brakeline i created tommorow oh and whats a nissan pintara? Jase Posted July 5, 2010 Author Share Posted July 5, 2010 back together with some handy advice from Mike-E, put a 3.45 gearset in out of a vl swapped the pinion out and resealled it all up, housings must be marginally different as i have an ever so slight whine when coasting might yet find some shims for the pinion got a TOLEDO torque wrench for cheaps $74.90 Appco 12-200nm jobby they may have buggered the pricing on that one Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
