fuel
don't bother - just buy a new set of these ones: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 725054.htm you can bleed your original ones by soaking them in diesel or kero overnight and use a Mitsubishi bleeding tool (ie a pin) to bleed them, but if the lifters are old they often still tick anyway. Hemi
bah soak them in oil , it works makes sure they are all facing one way thought , and besides they all pretty much tick till the engine oil pressure build up and wrms up for the first time . done it millions of times and never had problems . kero or diesel could be better during the cold months. i turbo washed (hot wash) them so they are hot then left them in oil overnight
barf
would it be wise to use assembly (Dry) lube on these? or better to just use typical lube oil?
Hemi
would it be wise to use assembly (Dry) lube on these? or better to just use typical lube oil? where?? on the part where the cam runs? i wouldnt bother just use lube on the cams when you whack them on , if your talking about the lifters themselves , immese them in oil or diesel etc . dwlee
Try STA Parts http://www.segedin.co.nz/ as the prices listed (if accurate) are significantly cheaper than off trademe. The ones for the 4g93T are listed at $6inc gst each giving the total of $96 for 16 versus the trademe price of $265.
fuel
are they the revised ones with the bigger holes though?
dwlee
Sorry, don't know, but if you gave them a call I'm sure they would tell you. I wasn't aware that the 4g93 lifters had the same problem as the early 4g63 lifters?

barf
i already replaced them at once about 200,000 so these ones have done less than 80,000kms, they're not noisy either was just askin for advice. last time i had to mild race the engine for 30-60 secs to bleed air out of them
