HighLUX
The van has started using water Oil doesnt seem milky under the cap or on the dipstick and theres no vapour or moisture coming from the exhaust even when its cold so I wonderinging where its going, the only fishy thing is a bit of milky vapour coming from the breather on the catch can. Engine is a Gen2 3sge
Requiemk
pressure test the cooling system. It doesn't matter which it is when you take the head off you get it checked and or planned and a new headgasket fitted.
HighLUX
Whipped the head off today and it turns out the heads corroded to shit around 1 and 2 cylinder water galleries. Time for a new head
Simon
Whipped the head off today and it turns out the heads corroded to shit around 1 and 2 cylinder water galleries. Time for a new head These heads are known to go soft as they age. How many kays has it done? Especially if they have been overheated before.
