ESKIN8R Posted April 10, 2010 Share Posted April 10, 2010 Hey guys Can anyone shed some light on 205 Block sierra Rods It was my understanding that the 205 blocks had the thicker, slightly stronger rods Now Ive pulled apart two 205 Block motors and both had what I underdstand as cortina rods!!!! Acording to this article they should have the rods pictured on the right http://www.retrotech.co.nz/Tech/205-rods.php But both sets of mine are the left pic. Any one have any clues? My name is Russell Posted April 10, 2010 Share Posted April 10, 2010 Interesting thread never noticed difference in conrods, in saying that iv only ever had 205's Iv got two good 205 engines in bits, got one of the rods infront of me thats deff same as the one on the right and keen for money towards my car PM me offer otherwise i should probably put them on tardme to make some space.
