grdwalker Posted February 3, 2010 Share Posted February 3, 2010 where on the block is this found? i found a number on the exhaust side that contained: 70HM6015B-A i dont think i got the beginning as it was under the engine mount. and another thing: on the intake side just above the starter motor is a bell shaped thing going into the block with a wire on it, except the wire has broken off and im assuming its another one that i can see not attached to anything. what is this? grdwalker Posted February 3, 2010 Author Share Posted February 3, 2010 not sure, i have to fill out a change of details form and one section is engine number, it is like 17 spaces long so i thought it must be a big number to identify the model of the engine? My name is Russell Posted February 5, 2010 Share Posted February 5, 2010 Meet a guy at seaview sprints who had highly worked pinto, rev'n up to 7K, speedy as etc and he said he had not touched it in 15 years! All mine have been given very hard lifes overheating them in wellington trafic with no fan going etc last fairly long considering how badly i treat them.
