fordman1 Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 hi everyone hows it going, my names johnnie, iv have just started a mk1 2ltr esky project and im am up to the stage of getting the engine ready to put in, i have welded the sump up and hav fitted a 205 oil pump. i am not sure on wat engine mounts to use tho, will the 1600 xflow ones be alrite? i will get some pics of it so far for ya to see whats goin on with it 2morrow. iv got most the little things sorted but the biggest issue atm is the engine mounts so any help will be great thanks, johnnie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

fordman1 Posted January 12, 2010 Author Share Posted January 12, 2010 ok sweethanks for that so this is the engine sitting in place with the 1600 mounts, its sit very high n theres no way the gear box is going to fit like that. i am thinking about cutting the face off the mount, cutting and welding to try get it sitting lower, rekon it will work? how much work n how hard is it to cut n make the tunnel bigger?
